Miss World Singapore 2022 is Oh Wei Qi

Oh Wei Qi was crowned Miss World Singapore 2022 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, September 10 at the state-of-the-art The Theatre at Mediacorp. The 23-year-old artist and entrepreneur will now prepare to represent Singapore at the 71st Miss World pageant. She succeeds last year's titleholder Khailing Ho. "Everything feels so surreal to me, it feels like a dream," she wrote in a statement on social media and recalled how she joined the pageant for the first time in 2021. "It was my first pageant experience and definitely one that taught me the beauty of Miss World and the possibilities I can do to give back to society," she said. She also added, "It showed me that my dreams are not as far-fetched as it seems if I am not willing to give up." Also crowned at the same event were Miss Intercontinental Singapore 2022 Gerlyn Cheah and Miss Globe Singapore 2022 Saranya Chyenne. They will compete in Miss Intercontinental and The Miss Globe pageants

The Miss Globe Poland 2022 is Patrycja Krzywoń

Miss Polski 2022 second runner-up Patrycja Krzywoń from Kraków has been officially appointed as The Miss Globe Poland 2022. The 24-year-old beauty is a model and law student at Jagiellonian University. She also studies foreign languages and speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, and German fluently. Her special interests include issues related to Spanish-speaking countries and human rights. Patricia will fly to Tirana, Albania on September 30 to compete in The Miss Globe 2022 pageant, whose final is scheduled on October 15 at Skanderbeg Square. The international beauty title is currently held by Maureen Montagne of the Philippines. Philippines' Maureen Montagne wins The Miss Globe 2021

Miss Philippines Maureen Montagne bested over 40 other beauties to be crowned Miss Globe 2021 on Friday, November 5 in Tirana, Albania. The 28-year-old Filipino-American events host and model was born and raised in Arizona, USA. She succeeds Miss Globe 2020 Lorinda Kolgeci of Kosovo. Nigeria's Esther Ogechi Gabriel settled for a first runner-up finish while Turkey's Melike Bali was named the second runner-up. The representatives of Venezuela, Jhosskaren Smiller Carrizo, and Canada, Hailey Hamelin-Wilson were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Brazil, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Guyana, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Romania, and the USA completed the Top 15 semi-finalists. The new Miss Globe is no stranger to pageantry as she has previously joined several national competitions both in the US and the Philippines before winning her Binibining Pilipinas Globe title in July. Miss Globe 2021 competition was officially announced to be held in Tirana, Albania this November. The organizers shared the pageant provides an amazing platform where "women from all over the world gather together in sisterhood, make connections, celebrate beauty, health, intelligence, diversity." "They make life-long friendships, empower each other, become role models for younger generations." Kosovo's Lorinda Kolgeci will crown her successor at the Opera Theater in Tirana on November 5.
