Miss World Singapore 2022 is Oh Wei Qi


Oh Wei Qi was crowned Miss World Singapore 2022 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, September 10 at the state-of-the-art The Theatre at Mediacorp.

The 23-year-old artist and entrepreneur will now prepare to represent Singapore at the 71st Miss World pageant. She succeeds last year's titleholder Khailing Ho.

"Everything feels so surreal to me, it feels like a dream," she wrote in a statement on social media and recalled how she joined the pageant for the first time in 2021.

"It was my first pageant experience and definitely one that taught me the beauty of Miss World and the possibilities I can do to give back to society," she said.

She also added, "It showed me that my dreams are not as far-fetched as it seems if I am not willing to give up."

Also crowned at the same event were Miss Intercontinental Singapore 2022 Gerlyn Cheah and Miss Globe Singapore 2022 Saranya Chyenne. They will compete in Miss Intercontinental and The Miss Globe pageants, respectively.

The ever beautiful reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska graced the event as a special guest.

Spain wins second Mister Supranational title

Pedro Cordero, a 23-year-old model from Cártama (Málaga), was announced the winner of Mister Supranational 2026 during the pageant's 10th edition, which took place on Saturday, August 1, in Nowy Sącz, Poland. He became the second Spanish representative to claim the international male beauty title, following Iván Álvarez Guedes, who won in 2023. The inaugural edition of the Reina Filipinas beauty pageant was held on Friday, August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Palawan's Angelica Lopez, former Miss International Philippines, was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss Miss Grand International 2026 pageant this October. Susana Medina from Las Palmas beat 16 other contestants to win Miss Universe Spain 2026 on Saturday, July 18 in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. The 27-year-old model and actress will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. Vietnam to host the 73rd Miss World competition this summer

Vietnam, the land of the "Ascending Dragon", has been revealed as the official host country of the 73rd Miss World (Miss World 2026) competition. The official announcement was made during the Miss World Vietnam final on March 29 by Miss World CEO and Chairperson Julia Morley CBE and representatives of Sen Vàng, the local organizers and co-producers of the event.
