Miss Asia Global 2022 is Warapon Mae Yarbrough of Thailand
Thailand's Warapon Mae Yarbrough was crowned Miss Asia Global 2022 in a glittering world final held on Sunday, September 18 at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre in Penang, Malaysia. The 18-year-old Thai-American beauty bested over 30 other contestants to win the international competition. She also bagged the Miss Asia Global Elegance award. Angelica Lopez of the Philippines finished first runner-up while Lisa Shefer of Estonia, Christina Harb of Canada, and Anna Avedenko of Ukraine were announced the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The representatives of Korea, South Africa, Finland, Canada, Colombia, and Australia were named the continental winners. Sara Damnjanovic of Serbia, the winner from 2019, passed the crown to her successor at the end of the event.
