Zuheilyn Clemente was proclaimed Miss Universe Honduras 2023 in a glittering national competition held on Friday, August 4 at the Club Hondureño Arabe in San Pedro Sula. The 22-year-old TV host representing the Honduran capital city of Tegucigalpa bested 19 other competitors to win the national title. San Pedro Sula's Lilian Pineda Bendeck and Stephie Morel of Choloma finished as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Rebeca Rodriguez Mora crowned her successor who will now represent Honduras at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador. The 20-year-old university student representing Okinawa succeeds last year's winner Manae Matsumoto and will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam this December. Fabiënne Nicole Groeneveld edged out 29 other competitors to win Miss Universe Indonesia 2023 in a glittering competition held on Thursday, August 3 at the Beach City International Stadium in Jakarta. The 23-year-old model and business graduate representing DKI Jakarta was also awarded Miss Confidently Beautiful during the preliminary competition. She will now prepare to represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. For the first time in history, Pakistan will debut at the Miss International pageant with newly appointed Miss International Pakistan 2023 Misbah Arshad. The 26-year-old psychology student at the University of Hagen in Germany will now represent Pakistan at Miss International 2023 in Japan this October. Prior to her designation as Miss International Pakistan, she won the main title of Miss Pakistan World 2023 in a national competition held in Lahore last May 13. Panameña Universal Organization officially announced Nicole Castillero as Miss Earth Panama 2023 via social media on Wednesday, August 2. The 23-year-old student pursuing a degree in marketing and international studies will now represent Panama at Miss Earth 2023 to be held in Vietnam this December. Nicole succeeds last year's representative Valerie Solís who bagged a silver medal for Best in Talent during the Miss Earth 2022 competition in the Philippines. Panama has yet to win the Miss Earth crown since joining for the first time in 2001. Its highest placement was in 2006 when Stefanie de Roux Martin placed in the Top 8.
