Miss Earth Japan 2023 is Kirari Oshiro of Okinawa


Kirari Oshiro bested 22 other competitors to be crowned Miss Earth Japan 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, August 3 at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo.

The 20-year-old university student representing Okinawa succeeds last year's winner Manae Matsumoto and will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam this December.

Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were Haruna Kokubo of Tokyo (second place), Arisa Nagasaka of Osaka (third place), and Yume Kusunoki of Niigata (fourth place).

Reigning Miss Earth Mina Sue Choi from Korea and former Miss Earth Fire Jareerat "Baitong" Petsom from Thailand were special guests at the event.
