Miss Earth Japan 2023 is Kirari Oshiro of Okinawa


Kirari Oshiro bested 22 other competitors to be crowned Miss Earth Japan 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, August 3 at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo.

The 20-year-old university student representing Okinawa succeeds last year's winner Manae Matsumoto and will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam this December.

Rounding out the Top 5 finalists were Haruna Kokubo of Tokyo (second place), Arisa Nagasaka of Osaka (third place), and Yume Kusunoki of Niigata (fourth place).

Reigning Miss Earth Mina Sue Choi from Korea and former Miss Earth Fire Jareerat "Baitong" Petsom from Thailand were special guests at the event.

Miss USA 2025, the much-awaited 74th Miss USA pageant will be held on Friday, October 24 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. This year's competition marks the fourth occasion it will take place in Reno after 2019, 2022, and 2023. Chayathanus "Cheraim" Saradatta from Thailand was crowned The Miss Globe 2025 on Wednesday, October 15 at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana, Albania. The 31-year-old model of Hiananese-Chinese descent bested 49 other contestants to win the international beauty title. She also bagged the People's Choice award. Melissa Queenie Sapini was officially crowned Miss Universe Haiti 2025 in a special ceremony held on Saturday, October 18 at The Palm Theater (Embassy Suites) in Boca Raton, Florida. The 22-year-old Haitian-American TV host will now prepare to represent Haiti at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November.
