Phiranya Thipphomvong was crowned Miss Universe Laos 2024 in a national competition held on Saturday, June 8 at the Saint Phila Convention Hall in Vientiane. The 28-year-old from the province of Houaphanh bested 17 other contestants to win the national title. She will now prepare to represent Laos at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year. Phoudthasone Phimmakaisone of Xaisomboun and Soukthida Paseuth of Khammouane were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Miss Shqiperia (Miss Albania) 2024, the 26th edition of the national competition, was held on Friday, June 7 at Peqin Castle in Peqin, Albania.
