Andrea Rubio to visit the Philippines for Binibining Pilipinas 2024


Reigning Miss International Andrea Rubio is expected to visit the Philippines to attend the 60th Binibining Pilipinas (Miss Philippines) pageant.

This will be the second official visit of the Venezuelan beauty to Asia since she was crowned Miss International 2023 last October in Japan.

Last March, she went to Jakarta, Indonesia as a special guest of the Puteri Indonesia 2024 pageant together with the reigning Miss Supranational Andrea Aguilera and Miss Charm Luma Russo.

This year's Binibining Pilipinas grand coronation night will be held on July 7 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. The winners will represent the Philippines at Miss International 2025 and The Miss Globe 2024.

Former queens Nicole Cordoves (Miss Grand Philippines 2016), Kylie Versoza (Miss International 2016), Catriona Gray (Miss Universe 2018), and MJ Lastimosa (Miss Universe Philippines 2014) will be hosting the much-awaited event.

Miss Universe Paraguay 2026 is Gretha Matiauda

Former Miss Earth Paraguay Gretha Matiauda has recently been appointed as her country's official representative in the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. The 24-year-old beauty from Asunción is an economist, international model and entrepreneur. She succeeds last year's titleholder Yanina Gómez who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025. Vietnam to host the 73rd Miss World competition this summer

Vietnam, the land of the "Ascending Dragon", has been revealed as the official host country of the 73rd Miss World (Miss World 2026) competition. The official announcement was made during the Miss World Vietnam final on March 29 by Miss World CEO and Chairperson Julia Morley CBE and representatives of Sen Vàng, the local organizers and co-producers of the event. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Kaori Hashimoto was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, July 16 in Shibuya. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul.
