Former Miss World Greece Rafaela Plastira has been named Miss Universe Greece 2021. She succeeds Miss Universe Greece 2018, Ioanna Bella. The 21-year-old model was crowned Star Hellas 2019 and went to compete in the 69th Miss World pageant in London. She holds a degree in the management of social services and aspires to pursue postgraduate study in journalism. "My dream since a young girl has come true. I can't wait to represent my country again," she shared online. "This time it's gonna be very different for me. It will be my last pageant so I will give my all into it," she added. Andrea Romero has been officially named by Osmel Sousa as Reina Hispanoamericana Venezuela 2021 on Tuesday, June 1. The 24-year-old professional model holds a bachelor's degree in international studies. She was first runner-up in the first season of the czar of beauty's El Concurso. "Thankful to God for being present in these wonderful achievements of my life, I can't stop crying because of the emotion I feel," Andrea shared online. "This is such a great responsibility to be Venezuela before the world. This achievement also belongs to my family, friends, and all those people who have always supported me," she added. The 3rd annual Miss World Cayman Islands pageant took place on Saturday, May 29 at the Harquail Theatre, George Town in Grand Cayman. Rashana Hydes bested four other beauties to be crowned Miss World Cayman Islands 2021. She succeeded Miss World Cayman Islands 2019 Jaci Patrick. The 24-year-old mental health advocate from West Bay holds a bachelor's degree in hospitality management. She can be described as ambitious, fair-minded, and artistic, who is passionate about various forms of creative expression. Sydonie Barrett and Alyssa West were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Krista Ebanks and Jesika Calderin-Ebanks completed the Top 5 finalists. Mexicana Universal Organización has been officially named Debora Hallal as Miss Universe Mexico 2021 on Monday, May 31. The 24-year-old beauty who hails from Los Mochis holds a degree in business administration. She represented Sinaloa in Mexicana Universal 2020 competition where she placed first runner-up. Debora succeeded Andrea Meza, who was crowned Miss Universe 2020 last month in Florida, USA. Solange Hermoza Rivera was officially named Miss Supranational Peru 2021 last Thursday, May 27. The 26-year-old actress from La Libertad holds a bachelor's degree in business engineering. She was first runner-up during Miss Peru 2020 national competition. Also announced by Miss Peru Organization on its official social media platforms was Mister Supranational Peru 2021 Varo Vargas. Solange and Varo will represent Peru at the Miss Supranational and Mister Supranational 2021 competitions, respectively, in Poland this August. The finalists of Miss Nederland 2021 (Miss Netherlands 2021) pageant have been revealed over the weekend at Studio 21 in Hilversum. During the casting day, around 50 beauties presented themselves in front of the distinguished panel of judges including former titleholders. The 10 selected finalists are Marlies Smedinga, Esmee Cornet, Benthe van der Kleij, Eleanor Dingemans, Julia Sinning, Myrthe van der Vlies, Shizen Wong, Kim van der Vlies, Maud van Oossanen and Isa de Bruin. They will be featured in a TV program and follow various training courses and workshops leading up to the final on a date yet to be announced. The winner will succeed Denise Speelman and expected to represent the Netherlands at the next Miss Universe competition. William Badell was named Mister Supranational Venezuela 2021 in a special competition aired by Globovisión on Thursday, May 27. The 24-year-old model, cabin crew, and social communication student edged out four other finalists to win his title.
