Miss Supranational Peru 2021 is Solange Hermoza Rivera

Solange Hermoza Rivera was officially named Miss Supranational Peru 2021 last Thursday, May 27.

The 26-year-old actress from La Libertad holds a bachelor's degree in business engineering. She was first runner-up during Miss Peru 2020 national competition.

Also announced by Miss Peru Organization on its official social media platforms was Mister Supranational Peru 2021 Varo Vargas.

Solange and Varo will represent Peru at the Miss Supranational and Mister Supranational 2021 competitions, respectively, in Poland this August.

"I could not have a better partner for this great adventure that is coming to us, I am convinced that we will be a wonderful duo, ambassadors of Peru who will give soul, heart, and life in the competition," Solange shared online.

Miss Wales 2022 is Darcey Corria, first woman of color to win the pageant

Darcey Corria bested 19 other finalists to be crowned Miss Wales 2022 in a glittering competition held at The Riverfront in Newport on Sunday, May 8. The 21-year-old model and advocate from Barry was born to a white mother and a father of Jamaican heritage. She became the first-ever woman of color to win the Miss Wales pageant. Chepstow's Zoe Scrimshaw and Bridgend's Catrin Harries were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Wales volunteers for Race Equality First and helps women from black, Asian, and minority ethnic backgrounds in the community through health and fitness. Chinese-Canadian Amelia Tu triumphed over 50 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Canada 2022 in a national competition held on Thursday, May 14 at the Meridian Arts Centre in Toronto. The 20-year-old biology and business student at Universe of California, Berkeley hails from Vancouver, BC. She succeeds Tamara Jemuovic and will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2022 pageant later this year. Madison Kvaltin was named first runner-up while Yuliya Shcherban finished second runner-up. Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen has been officially announced to represent Vietnam at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant in Poland. The 26-year-old business administration graduate from Can Tho was named Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 in May last year and recently joined the 70th Miss Universe competition in Israel where she placed in the Top 16.
