Namibia's Chanique Rabe is the first-ever woman from her country to be crowned Miss Supranational and the second Namibian to win a major pageant after Miss Universe 1992 Michelle McLean. The 24-year-old edged out 57 other beauties from around the world to win the 12th edition of the international pageant. She was joined in the Top 5 by Puerto Rico's Karla Acevedo, South Africa's Thato Mosehle, Venezuela's Valentina Sanchez, and Dominican Republic's Eoanna Constanza. Chanique Rabe of Namibia bested 57 other contestants to win Miss Supranational 2021 on Saturday, August 21 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland. The 24-year-old beauty who was born and raised in Windhoek is an ambassador for Hope Village Orphanage and she teaches sewing to children through her own charity project called The Mending Project. Karla Guilfú Acevedo of Puerto Rico and Thato Mosehle of South Africa were the first and second runners-up respectively while Valentina Sánchez of Venezuela was the third runner-up, and Eoanna Constanza of Dominican was fourth runner-up. The new Miss Supranational is no stranger to pageantry as she previously held the titles Miss Teen Namibia 2014 and Miss Teen Continents 2015. Agata Wdowiak bested 23 other contestants to be crowned Miss Polski 2021 (Miss Poland) in a glittering competition held on Friday, August 20 in Nowy Sącz. The 24-year-old model from Lodz is a graduate of geomonitoring, business management, and is currently studying nanotechnology at the Lodz University of Technology. Natalia Brzozowska and Magdalena Majda were the first and second runners-up respectively while Dominika Dąda and Stella Czyszewicz completed the Top 5 finalists. The new Miss Polski succeeds last year's winner, Anna-Maria Jaromin of Katowice. It has yet to be announced which international pageant she will go to represent Poland. Miss Distrito Federal, Caroline Teixeira, was crowned Miss Brasil Mundo 2021 (Miss World Brazil) in a national competition held in Brasilia on Thursday, August 19. The 23-year-old beauty, who holds a degree in law, succeeds Miss Mundo Brasil 2019 Elís Miele. She will represent her country at the 70th Miss World (Miss World 2021) pageant to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. Miss Rio Grande do Sul, Alina Furtado, and Miss Espirito Santo, Gabriela Botelho, were in second and third places, respectively. The representatives of Piauí, Larissa Barros, Mato Grosso do Sul, Dandara Queiroz, and Pernambuco, Guilhermina Montarroyos, completed the Top 6 finalits. Louise-Marie Losfeld (Belgium), Alice Li (China), Darelys Santos (Panama), Karla Guilfú Acevedo (Puerto Rico), and Amelia Michael Sky (South Sudan) were named the Top Models of their respective regions. Miss Supranational Ghana 2021 Verónica Sarfo Adu Nti was named Miss Talent on Wednesday, August 18 at the Hotel Beskid in Nowy Sącz. Shivali Patel (USA), Linda Sibrián (El Salvador), Queenie Benjarat (Thailand), and Jenelle Thongs (Trinidad and Tobago) completed the Top 5 finalists. Miss Supranational Belgium 2021 Louise-Marie Losfeld was awarded Miss Photogenic during the Miss Supranational 2021 preliminary competition held at Hotel Beskid in Nowy Sącz on Tuesday, August 17. "Today was such an amazing day. We did the preliminary and I won the title of Miss Supranational Photogenic. I’m so grateful. Can’t wait until the big final," Louise-Marie shared on her social media account. Miss Universe Malaysia Organization (MUMO) released an official statement on Tuesday, August 17 in regard to Malaysia's non-participation at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. "Unfortunately, due to the worsening COVID-19 situation, which has resulted in limited international and domestic travel, we have been unable to hold our local Miss Universe Malaysia 2021 pageant," the MUMO said. "We have therefore declined the invitation to this year's pageant and regretfully would not be able to hold a local Miss Universe Malaysia pageant this year." Nora Emilie Nakken bested 12 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Norway 2021 in a national competition held in Oslo on Saturday, August 14. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Trondheim succeeds Sunniva Frigstad. She will represent Norway at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. Angelika Catharina D. Kristiansen and Amine Storrød were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Julie Dahlen Børresen and Stephany Gabriela Crespo La Rosa completed the Top 5.
