Erlande Berger was crowned Miss World Haiti 2021 in a national final held last Sunday, October 3 at the Karibe Hotel in Port-au-Prince. The 24-year-old communications graduate works as an actress, model, entrepreneur, and make-up artist. She founded the Berger Foundation which works on female leadership and supports underprivileged children. Fabienne Auguste and Samantha Cesar were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss World Haiti will represent her country at the Miss World 2021 pageant in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. "I am so honored to have been elected Miss World Haiti 2021. Indy Johnson was officially named as the newly appointed Miss Grand Thailand 2021 during a press conference held on Wednesday, October 6 at PM Center in Bangkok. The 24-year-old beauty from Bangkok represented Pathum Thani and placed as the first runner-up during Miss Grand Thailand 2020 competition won by her predecessor, Patcharaporn “Nam” Chantarapadit. The press conference for Miss Grand International 2021 was held at the PM Center in Bangkok, Thailand on Wednesday, October 6. MGI President Nawat Itsaragrisil officially revealed the series of activities and schedules for the competition that will take place in Phuket, Phi Phi Islands, and Bangkok. The international pageant's 9th edition will be held on December 4 at the SHOW DC Hall. The reigning Miss Universe from Mexico Andrea Meza has been invited to sit as one of the judges in the upcoming Miss South Africa 2021 national competition. "With her vast pageant experience as a reigning Queen who also placed first runner-up at Miss World 2017, we have no doubt that she will add so much value in selecting a great woman fit for the role of Miss South Africa," Miss South Africa organization said in a post on its official social media page. Andrea will be joined in the all-women selection panel by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach while two other former winners Catriona Gray and Zuzibini Tunzi will be the backstage hosts at the finale. Claudia Motta was crowned Miss Mondo Italia 2021 (Miss World Italy) in a glittering national competition held last September 26 at Villa dei Fiori in Gallipoli. The 21-year-old law student from Rome bested 24 other beauties from across her country to succeed Miss Mondo Italia 2019, Adele Sammartino. Lucia La Paglia and Martina Ballardini were respectively named the first and second runners-up while Isabella Marchetti and Aurora Vella completed the Top 5 finalists. The new Miss World Italy is a keen classical and contemporary dancer, which she has practiced since she was a child, and attended the National Dance Academy in Rome. She will now prepare to represent Italy at the 70th Miss World pageant in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December. “It is a privilege to represent the colors of my nation and a great responsibility to carry on the "Autism On The Road Project"  that I will present at Miss World. Tracy Maureen Perez of Cebu City was crowned Miss World Philippines 2021 on Sunday, October 3 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center in Olongapo, Zambales. The 28-year-old model and industrial engineer succeeds Michelle Dee and will now prepare to represent the Philippines at the 70th Miss World pageant in San Juan, Puerto Rico in December. Kathleen Joy Paton, Zoe Emmanuelle Vera, Trisha Martinez, Michelle Arceo, Shaila Mae Rebortera, and Tatyana Alexi Austria were respectively named Miss Eco International, Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Tourism Universe, Miss Environment International, Miss Multinational and Miss Eco Teen International Philippines 2021. Caterina Di Fuccia was crowned Miss Universe Italy 2021 during a national competition held in Rome last Sunday, September 26. The 24-year-old teacher and runway coach from Marcianise is no stranger to pageantry as she was Top 16 at Miss Mondo Italia 2016 and Top 10 at Miss Italia 2019. Elísa Gróa Steinþórsdóttir was crowned Miss Universe Iceland 2021 in a glittering national competition held at the historic Gamla Bíó in Reykjavik on Wednesday, September 29. The 27-year-old dancer who hails from Gardabaer succeeds Elísabet Hulda Snorradóttir and will now prepare to represent Iceland at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. Íris Freyja Salguero  Kristinardottir, who placed second, was named Miss Supranational Iceland 2021. The 22-year-old will be sent to the Miss Supranational competition next year in Poland. The reigning Miss Earth queens were invited to visit Greece from September 29 to October 2 for a series of activities with the Star GS Hellas pageant. Besides gracing the coronation night of the Greek national pageant, Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey from the USA and Miss Earth Air 2020 Stephany Zreik from Venezuela also enjoyed sightseeing around the beautiful southeastern European country. Greece is known for its ancient history and magnificent temples, and it's often called the cradle of Western civilization. It is also the birthplace of democracy and the Olympic Games. Loíza representative, Michelle Colón, was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2021 in a glittering competition held on Thursday, September 30 in San Juan. The 21-year-old model and pre-medicine student who created the CARE Empowerment Program succeeds Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2020 and Miss Universe Top 10 finalist, Estefanía Soto. San Lorenzo’s Jaylene Marie Álvarez and Dorado’s Oxana Isabel Rivera were respectively named the first and second runners-up while Toa Baja’s Heilymar Rosario, Trujillo Alto’s Sthephanie Marie Miranda, and Villalba’s Gabriela Guzmán completed the Top 6.
