Miss Universe Romania 2020 is Bianca Tirsin


Bianca Lorena Tirsin was officially named Miss Universe Romania 2020 on Tuesday, December 1 in a special announcement that aired on Romanian TV channel Antena Stars.

The 21-year-old model and business administration student from Arad will represent her country at the 69th Miss Universe pageant to be held next year possibly in the USA.

Miruna Alexandra Doldor, Pălimariu Diana Nicole, and Ada-Maria Ileana were the runners-up while Cristina Brudiu was named Miss Popularity Romania 2020.

The new Miss Universe Romania is no stranger to pageantry. She placed second runner-up at Miss Supranational 2017 in Poland and third runner-up at Miss International 2018 in Japan.

Romania is yet to have its first placement at Miss Universe. The country debuted at the international competition in 1991 with Daniela Nane.

South Africa's Natasha Joubert reveals national costume for the 69th Miss Universe pageant

Miss Universe South Africa, Natasha Joubert, has revealed the national costume she will wear at the 69th Miss Universe pageant this May in Florida, USA. The national costume created by Gert-Johan Coetzee features fabric wings that were printed with drawings made by young children from Diepsloot and Randburg. It tells the story of pre-school children’s very personal experiences of lockdown and how the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted their young lives. “We wanted to create something special and proudly South African. We not only created a garment to show off our skills and for dramatic effect, but it also had to be something truly meaningful and represent a cause close to Natasha’s heart. Miss Kansas USA 2021 is Gracie Hunt

Gracie Hunt, representing Kansas City, was crowned Miss Kansas USA 2021 in a glittering competition held on Sunday, April 11 at the B&B Live Performing Arts Theatre in Shawnee. The 21-year-old works in marketing and development for the Kansas City Chiefs and currently pursuing her master’s in sport management from the University of Kansas. She is a global ambassador for Special Olympics, a certified health and fitness coach with Celiac disease, and founded the nonprofit Breaking Barriers Through Sports in 2016 to aid the disadvantaged and promote respect and inclusion worldwide. Gracie succeeds Hayden Brax and will now prepare to represent her state at the Miss USA 2021 pageant. Voting is officially open for the 69th Miss Universe pageant. You can now help your favorite contestant to automatically place into the Top 21. To vote, just visit the official page  vote.missuniverse.com  or download the Miss Universe official app on your Android or iOS application, or the Lazada app for the residents of the Philippines. You can vote once for free or pay for additional votes. Voting will end on Saturday, May 15 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Seventy-five contestants are confirmed to participate in the pageant. The final competition will be on Sunday, May 16 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, USA.

Miss Universe El Salvador, Philippines and Colombia visit official skincare sponsor in Los Angeles

Vanessa Velasquez of El Salvador, Rabiya Mateo of the Philippines, and Laura Olascuaga of Colombia were in Los Angeles, California for a promotional event ahead of the 69th Miss Universe pageant next month in Florida.
