69th Miss Universe pageant final date revealed


The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) has finally confirmed in an email to its franchise directors that the 69th Miss Universe pageant will be held in the USA on May 16.

Further details of the upcoming competition including the exact host city and final venue are yet to be announced.

MUO anticipates observing the same strict procedures that were established and followed at the Miss USA pageant last November in Memphis.

They also revealed the plan to host the 70th edition (Miss Universe 2021) later this year “most likely in a non-USA destination” once negotiations are finalized.

The usual deadline requirement for the licensed holders to hold a national competition by August 30 will be waived. They will have until October 31 to produce their shows.

“We hope this decision will bring some relief to you and encourage more participation,” says the organization.

Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 is Clara Vegas of Miranda

Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico. Maria Evangelista Alayon of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Milena Paola Soto of Mérida, Gabriela de la Cruz of Yaracuy, and Gabriela Villegas of Monagas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss World Italy 2026 is Mia Zottoli Montanaro from Puglia

Mia Zottoli Montanaro was proclaimed the winner of Miss Mondo Italia 2026 (Miss World Italy) last Sunday, June 14 at the Ecoresort Le Sirenè in Gallipoli. The 21-year-old model and former volleyball player of Argentine descent from Taranto, Puglia was crowned by her predecessor Sofia Viola. Kamilla Kiss, 25, was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2026 on Friday, June 19 at Kálmán Imre Theater in Budapest. Following rounds of online screenings, the Miss Ukraine Committee has officially announced the 25 contestants for the Miss Ukraine 2023 pageant. This year's event will be held in an online format where every Ukrainian will for the first time be able to participate as a jury by voting on the Miss Ukraine official website .
