Dominican Republic's Maria Vargas crowned Miss Petite International 2020


Maria Vargas, representing the Dominican Republic, was crowned Miss Petite International 2020 in a glittering competition held last Saturday, March 27 in San Salvador, El Salvador.

The 25-year-old beauty succeeded Miss Petite International 2019, Diana Garcia of Panama. She was born in La Romana province and holds a social communication degree in audiovisual production.

Naisha Bautisma of Curacao and Elizabeth Rodríguez of El Salvador were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Teen Petite International 2020 Jacqueline Albarran of the United States of America was also crowned in a separate competition. Her runners-up were Martadunia Lemus of Nicaragua and Julia Palmeira of Brazil.
