Miss Universe Armenia 2020 is Monika Grigoryan


Monika Grigoryan has been officially named Miss Universe Armenia 2020. Miss Armenia organizers made the announcement on Monday, March 22.

The 21-year-old model and student from Yerevan finished first runner-up at Miss World Armenia 2019. She succeeds Dayana Davtyan and will now prepare to represent her country at the 69th Miss Universe competition this May in Florida, USA.

"Dreams are very important in our lives, they give us hope, illuminate, color our lives. Each of us can make our dreams come true by believing, making that dream a goal, and achieving it," she said in a caption to her official photo wearing her crown and sash.

Monika majors in English language and literature at a university of languages and social sciences named after Valery Bryusov. She went to an orphanage for charity and organized not only material support but also a beauty contest for children.

Armenia debuted at the Miss Universe pageant in 2018 with Eliza Muradyan as its first-ever representative.

Bea Millan-Windorski of La Union was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2026 during the final of the national pageant on Saturday, May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 24-year-old Filipino-American beauty succeeded Maria Ahtisa Manalo from Quezon Province. She will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant, which is set to take place in Puerto Rico later this year. The coronation ball for The Miss Philippines 2026 took place on Sunday, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom in City of Dreams Manila. Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. Miss Grand Thailand 2026 is Patthama Jitsawat of Chonburi

Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket. Panasaya Angelica Damaagd of Buriram was names first runner-up while Ilin Nabsuk of Phuket, Natthakitta Kerdkanchiroj of Saraburi, and Naruemol Chaloemroek of Sukhothai were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Guatemala's Camila Riveiro was awarded Mejor Traje Tipico (Best in National Costume) during the Reina Hispanoamericana 2022 national costume competition held on Sunday, March 19 in Porongo, Bolivia. Following the arrival of the 29 contestants vying for Reina Hispanoamericana 2022, an official presentation took place on Monday, March 13 at the Radisson Hotel in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Standouts were the representatives of Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Haiti, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, and the USA.
