Priyanka Chopra announces Oscars 2021 nominations with husband Nick Jonas


Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra and husband Nick Jonas have announced the nominations for the Oscars 2021 in a two-part live stream on digital platforms from London on Monday, March 15.

The Indian beauty could not contain her excitement for the film she produced and starred "The White Tiger" which was nominated in the best adapted screenplay category.

"This is by far the coolest [work from home] day ever," Priyanka wrote on social media. She also shared some photos taken by English photographer and film director Greg Williams while congratulating all the nominees and thanking the academy for the opportunity to host the announcement.

The 93rd Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, April 25 at the Dolby Theatre and Union Station in Los Angeles, two months later than originally planned due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be televised live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT and in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.

Miss Universe Portugal 2025 is Camila Vitorino

Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Andreia Correia passed on her crown to her successor at the end of the event. "It is with great honor that I carry this sash on my chest representing all women, all mothers and the Portuguese people. Miss Turkey 2024: Idil Bilgen wins Miss Turkey World 2024

Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. The 24-year-old medical doctor bested 19 other competitors to win the national title. She will prepare to represent Türkiye at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Cemre Üker clinched the Miss Turkey Supranational 2024 crown and will head to Poland to compete in Miss Supranational 2025 next summer. Danielle Latimer beat over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Great Britain 2025 on Saturday, July 26 at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales. The 36-year-old entrepreneur, stylist and photographer will represent Great Britain at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Inna Moll, representing Vitacura, was crowned Miss Universe Chile 2025 in a national competitipn held on Friday, August 1 in Santiago. The 28-year-old model and influencer will now prepare to represent Chile at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Martina Kriskovich of Huechuraba was named first runner-up while María Jesús Honorato of Las Condes, Scarlett Hermosilla of Lo Barnechea, and Paula Jiménez of Providencia were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. This year's much-talked-about edition marked Thailand's fourth time hosting the prestigious beauty pageant after 1992, 2005, and 2018.
