Miss Grande Curitiba 2021 is Letícia Cocito


Letícia Cocito, 18, has been named Miss Grande Curitiba 2021 for Miss Brasil Mundo (Miss Brazil World) 2021 competition.

The first-year biomedical student will join the rest of the contestants from across the country in the national final at Brasilia Palace Hotel this August 19.

Forty-eight beauties will compete during the 61st edition of Miss Brasil Mundo. The winner will represent Brazil at the Miss World 2021 pageant in San Juan, Puerto Rico, later this year.

72nd Miss World heats up with contestants' arrival in Telangana, India

Miss World 2025, the 72nd Miss World competition has officially begun in Telengana, India with the arrival of over 100 contestants vying for the highly coveted title. The beauties were checked into their official residence hotel, the Trident Hotel Hyderabad, and have been rehearsing for the opening ceremony this coming Saturday, May 10 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. According to the Miss World organization, the upcoming ceremony "promises to be a vibrant display of traditional Telangana folk and tribal dance performances, beautifully choreographed in a parade-style theme that will highlight the rich cultural heritage of the region." Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. "This is a dream that has been 8 years in the making for me," said the new National American Miss Alabama who first joined the state pageant when she was 15 years old. Miss Universe Philippines 2025, the sixth edition of the annual pageant has culminated last night at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Heavy favorite Maria Ahtisa Manalo, 27, from Candelaria, Quezon Province, bagged the crown among 66 contestants following a tough competition. The 22-year-old Japanese-Bangladeshi from Kobe City in Hyogo Prefecture will represent Japan at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. She succeeds last year's winner Rio Miyazaki. Firsta Yufi Amarta Putri was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2025 on Saturday, May 2 at the Plenary Hall of the Jakarta International Convention Center in Jakarta. A total of 45 contestants from across the country battled it out to win the national title but the 23-year-old representative of Jawa Timur (East Java) emerged as the top winner. The rest of the Top 4 were Melliza Xaviera Putri Yulian of Jakarta SCR 1, Salma Ranggita of Sumatera Selatan 1, and Rinanda Maharani of Kalimantan Timur.
