Miss Grande Curitiba 2021 is Letícia Cocito


Letícia Cocito, 18, has been named Miss Grande Curitiba 2021 for Miss Brasil Mundo (Miss Brazil World) 2021 competition.

The first-year biomedical student will join the rest of the contestants from across the country in the national final at Brasilia Palace Hotel this August 19.

Forty-eight beauties will compete during the 61st edition of Miss Brasil Mundo. The winner will represent Brazil at the Miss World 2021 pageant in San Juan, Puerto Rico, later this year.

Miss Universe Bolivia 2022 is Maria Camila Sanabria Pereyra

Maria Camila Sanabria Pereyra has been appointed as the new Miss Universe Bolivia 2022 and will represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA this January. The 27-year-old beauty replaced the previous titleholder Maria Fernanda Pavisic Rojas who was dethroned due to her controversial "social experiment" video mocking her fellow competitors at Miss Universe. No stranger to pageantry, the newly proclaimed Miss Universe Bolivia has in October competed in Miss Grand International 2022 which was held in Indonesia and unfortunately missed a placement. The Top 40 contestants vying for the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2022 (Jewel of the Philippines) pageant have been officially presented to the press on Wednesday, November 23 at the Citadines Bay City Manila. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the national competition was not held in 2020 and 2021. The winner of the upcoming 52nd edition is expected to represent the Philippines at Miss Asia Pacific International 2023 on a date and venue yet to be announced. Shanique Singh was crowned Miss Jamaica World 2022 from a field of 13 competitors on Sunday, December 4 at the Courtleigh Auditorium in Kingston. The 25-year-old medical student at the University of the West Indies also won the Beach Beauty, Talent, and Beauty With A Purpose fast track events. Miss Earth 2022 is Mina Sue Choi, first winner from Korea

Mina Sue Choi of Korea bested over 80 other competitors to win Miss Earth 2022 in a glittering competition held on Tuesday, November 29 at Cove Manila, Okada Manila in the Philippines. The 24-year-old communication student succeeded Destiny Wagner of Belize and became her country's first-ever Miss Earth winner. She also bagged three gold medals for the swimsuit, beach wear, and long gown competition, and one bronze for resort wear. Australia's Sheridan Mortlock, Palestine's Nadeen Ayoub, and Colombia's Andrea Aguilera finished in the Top 4 and were awarded the elemental titles Miss Earth - Air, Water, and Fire, respectively. The Miss Earth 2022 delegates from Estonia, Norway, and Palestine have been announced by the Miss Earth Organization. Miss Earth Estonia 2022 is Liisi Tammoja, a 20-year-old beauty who studies music. She’s into acting, writing, and the entertainment industry. Her advocacy is to fight against air pollution by planting as many trees as possible. Miss Earth Norway 2022 Lilly Sødal is a 19-year-old mental health and sustainable development advocate from Kristiansand. She is into acting, modeling, and the entertainment industry. Miss Earth Palestine 2022 is a fitness, health coach, and entrepreneur, Nadeen Ayoub. After arriving back in Korea, the newly crowned Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi was bashed online for one reason — she came home with her international crown placed in a paper bag. Pageant fans paid attention to her arrival video posted on social media and were quick to criticize her including the Miss Earth organization for not placing the precious crown in an appropriate box. Not new to many, the original Miss Earth crown which is made of precious gems signifying the Earth's resources stays with the organization — the winner travels with a replica. While many defended the Korean beauty queen, the "crown in a paper bag" situation did not escape the rabid online bashers from noticing.
