Miss Kansas USA 2021 is Gracie Hunt


Gracie Hunt, representing Kansas City, was crowned Miss Kansas USA 2021 in a glittering competition held on Sunday, April 11 at the B&B Live Performing Arts Theatre in Shawnee.

The 21-year-old works in marketing and development for the Kansas City Chiefs and currently pursuing her master’s in sport management from the University of Kansas. She is a global ambassador for Special Olympics, a certified health and fitness coach with Celiac disease, and founded the nonprofit Breaking Barriers Through Sports in 2016 to aid the disadvantaged and promote respect and inclusion worldwide.

Gracie succeeds Hayden Brax and will now prepare to represent her state at the Miss USA 2021 pageant.

The new Miss Kansas USA is the daughter of Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt and former titleholder Tavia Shackles, who finished as a runner-up in Miss USA 1993.

"I cannot put into words how honored I am to join the VANBROS family and Miss Kansas USA legacy & represent the amazing state of Kansas," she posted on social media.

"Thank you to everyone who believed in me and to God for making my prayers a reality. I hope to make everyone proud through the next part of my journey. And so the adventure begins."

Emma Mary Tiglao of the Philippines was crowned Miss Grand International 2025 on Saturday, October 18 at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 30-year-old news anchor from Mabalacat City, Pampanga bested 76 other contestants to clinch the second golden crown for the Philippines. Sarunrat Puagpipat of Thailand, Aitana Carolina Jimenez of Spain, Faith Maria Porter of Ghana, and Nariman Battikha of Venezuela were announced the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Laura Ramos of Colombia, Markéta Mörwicková of the Czech Republic, Ana-Sofía Lendl of Guatemala, Montserrat Villalva of Mexico, and Beatrice Alex Akyoo made the Top 10 and were all named fifth runners-up. Miss USA 2025: Meet the contestants

Miss USA 2025, the much-awaited 74th Miss USA pageant will be held on Friday, October 24 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. This year's competition marks the fourth occasion it will take place in Reno after 2019, 2022, and 2023. Also, this will be the first edition under the leadership of the new Chairman, President, and CEO, Thom Brodeur. The next Miss USA will head to Bangkok, Thailand to represent "the land of opportunity" at the highly anticipated Miss Universe 2025 pageant this November. The 26-year-old personal trainer and sports enthusiast from Valencia bested 35 other contestants to win the male beauty title. He succeeds Daumier Corilla from the Philippines. Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco.
