Ireland's Kate Schneider takes over Mrs World 2020 title


Mrs Ireland World Kate Schneider has been named the new Mrs World 2020. She was the first runner-up at the last edition of the international pageant for married women.

The original titleholder Caroline Jurie resigned following a controversial on-stage drama in the Mrs Sri Lanka pageant earlier this month where she snatched the crown of the winner Pushpika De Silva because of false allegations. She was later arrested for the incident but released on bail.

Mrs World organization took to social media to announce the new titleholder on Tuesday, April 20 and revealed that Caroline's voluntary resignation was solely her decision.

The new Mrs World, who advocates health, wellness, and nutrition, also shared a statement on the official Mrs World page following her designation as the new titleholder.

"I want to give my sincerest thank you to everyone for being so incredibly welcoming as I take on this once-in-a-lifetime journey! I vow to make every single day count, take on each opportunity with gratitude, and leave a lasting legacy as your Mrs World! I hope to make you all very proud," she said.

Miss Universe Mexico 2025 is Fatima Bosch of Tabasco

Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 24-year-old designer from Teapa, Tabasco triumphed over 30 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Fernanda Vázquez of Nuevo León was named first runner-up while Yoana Gutiérrez of Jalisco, Ana Ramírez of Nayarit, and Alejandra Díaz de León of San Luis Potosí were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Mister International titleholders from 2006-2024

The Mister International pageant, a celebrated event in the world of male beauty, was established in 2006 in Singapore by Alan Sim, its original president and founder. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. Miss Venezuela 2024, the 71st Miss Venezuela pageant, was held on Thursday, December 5 at Espacio Caracas. Stephany Abasali, a 24-year-old economics student representing Anzoátegui, bested 22 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Venezuela 2024. Miss Universe Armenia 2024 is Irina Zakharova

Irina Zakharova was crowned Miss Universe Armenia 2024 during the national competition recently held in Moscow, Russia. The 31-year-old lawyer and talented singer living in Yerevan will represent Armenia at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. "It is a great honor for me to represent Armenia in the final of the Miss Universe beauty pageant," said the new Miss Universe Armenia. "Armenia is a country with a rich history, national color, traditions, friendly people, and a unique way of life. I will do my utmost to honorably represent my beloved country," she added. Miss Turkey 2024: Meet the Top 20 finalists

A total of 20 finalists have been selected to compete for Miss Turkey 2024 following an elimination round held on Wednesday, September 4 in Istanbul. The grand final will take place on September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel and the winners are expected to represent Turkey at the next Miss World and Miss Supranational pageants. No competition was held last year and this year's upcoming final will be the 42nd edition of the annual national pageant. Miss Universe Costa Rica 2024 is Elena Hidalgo

Elena Hidalgo was crowned Miss Universe Costa Rica 2024 on Tuesday, September 10 at the Centro Internacional de Convenciones ANDE (CIC ANDE) in San Antonio. The 32-year-old professional model from San José beat 12 other contestants to win the national title. She made history as the first mother to become Miss Universe Costa Rica. María Alejandra Acosta and Chonta Mullins were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Nicole Carboni and Kelly Avila rounded out the Top 5 finalists.
