Shivali Patel replaces Madeleine Overby as Miss Supranational USA 2020

A 24-year-old beauty of Indian descent from North Carolina, Shivali Patel, was officially announced as the new Miss Supranational USA 2020 on Tuesday, June 15.

The e-commerce executive and author assumed the national title after Madeleine Overby made the difficult decision to step down and relinquish her duties.

Shivali is no stranger to pageantry as she has previously joined the Miss World America pageant twice and placed as runner-up. She will now prepare to compete for the coveted title of Miss Supranational 2021 this August in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland.

"When I was five years old, my mum and dad thought it would be a wonderful bonding experience to compete in a pageant. Little did I know that nearly twenty years later, I would go on to owe a great deal of the woman I would become today to that same incredible world," she posted on social media.

Polish-American Emily Reng to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2025

Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Emily is a graduate of John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois and is currently a student at the University of South Carolina. The new Miss Universe Poland is no stranger to pageantry. Miss Universe 2025 competition kicks off in Bangkok, Thailand

The 74th Miss Universe pageant has officially commenced in Bangkok, Thailand, as over 120 beauties from across the world gather to vie for the most coveted crown. Clad in their arrival ensembles, the contestants were escorted to the Chatrium Hotel & Residence Riverside Bangkok, one of the official accommodations for this year's event. Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively.
