Miss Northern Ireland 2021 is Anna Leitch

Anna Leitch was crowned Miss Northern Ireland 2021 in a dazzling competition held at the Europa Hotel in Belfast on Monday, September 6.

The 27-year-old teacher from Cookstown bested 22 other beauties to win her title. She succeeds Miss Northern Ireland 2019 Lauren Leckey.

Miss Crumlin, Ruth Armstrong, and Miss Antrim, Bernadette Hagans, were respectively announced as the first and second runners-up.

Anna will represent Northern Ireland at the highly anticipated 70th Miss World pageant in San Juan, Puerto Rico this December.

Miss Anambra, Basil Onyinyechi, was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2025 on Saturday, August 30 at Balmoral Convention Center in Victoria Island, Lagos. She bested 21 other contestants to win her national title and will now prepare to represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Idah Eno of Akwa Ibom clinched the crown of Miss Supranational Nigeria 2025 and will head to Poland for Miss Supranational 2025 next summer. The Miss Nepal 2025 pageant was held on Saturday, August 30 at the  Godavari Sunrise Convention Center in Lalitpur. In addition to Miss Nepal World, Miss Nepal International, and Miss Nepal Earth, the 26 contestants also competed for the new title of Miss Nepal Cosmo. Luna Luitel, 26, from Kathmandu was crowned Miss Nepal World 2025 and will go to the Miss World 2026 competition whose date and venue have yet to be announced. 81-year-old model Choi Soon-hwa joins Miss Universe Korea 2024

Choi Soon-hwa recently created a buzz in the pageant community when she appeared as the oldest contestant vying for Miss Universe Korea 2024. The 81-year-old senior model who walked her first runway in her 70s made history as she competes alongside more than 30 others in the upcoming national competition. If she wins this year's Miss Universe Korea, she will be the oldest Korean representative and contestant in the 73-year history of the Miss Universe pageant. Nariman Battikha, representing Monagas, beat over 30 other contestants to win Miss Grand Venezuela 2025 on Saturday, August 30 at Wynwood Park, Valencia. The 30-year-old coach, speaker and entrepreneur will represent Venezuela at Miss Grand International 2025 in Thailand this October. She succeeds last year's titleholder Anna Blanco. No stranger to pageantry, Nary represented the state of Portuguesa at Miss Venezuela 2017 and finished in the Top 10. Former Miss France Eve Gilles has been officially named Miss Universe France 2025 by the Miss France organization. The 22-year-old model from Quaëdypre is set to represent France at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant to be held in Thailand this November.
