Miss Universe Guatemala 2021 is Dannia Guevara Morfin


Dannia Guevara Morfin was officially crowned Miss Universe Guatemala 2021 in a special ceremony held last October 27 at the Palacio Nacional de la Cultura in Guatemala City.

The 24-year-old model and law student will represent Guatemala at the 70th Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2021) pageant to be held in Eilat, Israel this December.

"It is a huge and gratifying satisfaction for me to see a dream crowned, of being the highest representative of national beauty," she shared on her social media account.

"Today I assume with great responsibility, love, and commitment the task for which I have been appointed, I agree to represent a country full of traditions, ancient culture, natural beauty, history, and promising present," she added.

Mia Zottoli Montanaro was proclaimed the winner of Miss Mondo Italia 2026 (Miss World Italy) last Sunday, June 14 at the Ecoresort Le Sirenè in Gallipoli. The 21-year-old model and former volleyball player of Argentine descent from Taranto, Puglia was crowned by her predecessor Sofia Viola. Basma Zaid of Basilicata and Azzura Sandrini of Lombardia were announced the first and second runners-up, respectively. Caterina Noghera of Veneto, Lara Boemio of Toscana, and Ginevra Pagano of Campania rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Pastry chef and model Swann Lavigne from France was proclaimed Mister Supranational 2025 on Saturday, June 28 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The 25-year-old bested 37 other contestants to win the international male pageant. He succeeds last year's winner Fezile Mkhize from South Africa. Zuemerik Veeris of Curacao, Mauricio Calvo of Mexico, Michael Mazi of Nigeria and Kenneth Vincent Cabungcal of the Philippines were named the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Milla Magee was crowned Miss England 2024 (Miss World England) on Friday, May 17 at The Grand Station in Wolverhampton. The 23-year-old qualified beach lifeguard from Newquay, Cornwall bested 39 other contestants to win the national title. She received the crown from her predecessor, the 71st Miss World Top 8 finalist who was awarded the titles Miss World Europe and Miss United Kingdom  Jessica Ashley Gagen . The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational. Lazio's Lucilla Nori was crowned Miss Universe Italy 2025 on Sunday, August 31 at Villa Cafiero in San Ferdinando di Puglia. The 26-year-old professional model and fashion sciences graduate from Anzio triumphed over 20 other contestants to win the national title. Andrea Zanettin and Catalina Jacob were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Giada Folcia and Fania Sorrentino rounded out the Top 5 finalists.
