Mrs. American Shaylyn Ford wins Mrs. World 2021 in Las Vegas


Mrs. American Shaylyn Ford was crowned Mrs. World 2021 in a glittering competition held at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Nevada on Saturday, January 15.

The 37-year-old hair and makeup artist from Ohio bested over 50 other contestants to win her international beauty title. She succeeds Kate Galligan Schneider of Ireland.

Jaclyn Nesheiwat Stapp of Jordan and Debanjali Kamstra of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

The coronation ball for The Miss Philippines 2026 took place on Sunday, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom in City of Dreams Manila. Miss Universe Côte d'Ivoire 2025 Olivia Yacé has officially announced on Monday, November 24 her resignation as Miss Universe Africa and Oceania. "As the representative of Côte d'Ivoire at the Miss Universe 2025 competition in Bangkok, i witnessed firsthand that i was capable of accomplishing great things despite adversity," Olivia wrote on social media. "But to continue on this path, i must remain true to my values: respect, dignity, excellence, and equal opportunity the strongest pillars that guide me," she continued. Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Daphne Currat of Tungurahua and Christie Termidor of Región Sierra were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. After 17 years, former Miss France Sylvie Tellier has officially announced her departure from the Miss France organization. The 44-year-old took to social media on Wednesday, August 31 to make a public statement on her decision to leave, which was made "with a lot of emotion because you don't leave a company after 17 years without memories in your head." The spectacular Miss Universe Philippines 2026 national costume competition took place on Thursday, April 16 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan. This year's show, themed Water, was hosted by the reigning Miss Eco Philippines, Gabbi Carballo. The contestants took to the stage, displaying Filipino artistry through their colorful costumes.
