Mrs. American Shaylyn Ford wins Mrs. World 2021 in Las Vegas


Mrs. American Shaylyn Ford was crowned Mrs. World 2021 in a glittering competition held at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Nevada on Saturday, January 15.

The 37-year-old hair and makeup artist from Ohio bested over 50 other contestants to win her international beauty title. She succeeds Kate Galligan Schneider of Ireland.

Jaclyn Nesheiwat Stapp of Jordan and Debanjali Kamstra of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Mexicana Universal 2022: Irma Miranda of Sonora to represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2022

Irma Miranda, representative of the state of Sonora, was crowned Mexicana Universal 2022 (Miss Universe Mexico 2022) at the Centro de Convenciones de San Luis Potosí (San Luis Potosi Convention Center) on Saturday, May 21. The 25-year-old TV host and business administration graduate bested 31 other contestants to win her title. She succeeds Débora Hallal of Sinaloa and will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2022 later this year. Itzía Garcia of Colima clinched the title Mexicana International 2023 (Miss International Mexico 2023) and will be sent to next year's Miss International pageant in Japan. Diana Robles of Guanajuato and Verónica Gamboa of Nayarit were named Mexicana Hispanoamericana 2022 and Mexicana Latinoamericana 2023, respectively, while Mayra Valencia of Nuevo León became first runner-up. Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen to represent Vietnam at Miss Supranational 2022

Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen has been officially announced to represent Vietnam at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant in Poland. The 26-year-old business administration graduate from Can Tho was named Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 in May last year and recently joined the 70th Miss Universe competition in Israel where she placed in the Top 16. "I’m so proud to wear Miss Supranational Vietnam 2022 sash on my shoulder. Thank you for all your love and support," she shared on her official social media account. The newly appointed Miss Supranational Vietnam has proudly co-founded the Spreading the Love foundation which aims to assist disadvantaged students to continue pursuing education dreams. She also holds various roles in the community activities in healthcare, including HIV/AIDS program and environment. The Miss and Mister Supranational Thailand 2022 national pageant was held on Friday, May 20 at Show DC's Ultra Arena Hall in Bangkok. Praewwanich Ruangthong, 29, was named Miss Supranational Thailand 2022 while Yoyo Teenarupakorn Muangmai, 27, clinched the Mister Supranational Thailand 2022 title. They will represent their country at Miss and Mister Supranational 2022 in Poland this July. "Finally I’ve reached my dream, and I promise that I will do my best for Thailand in [Mister Supranational] 2022," the new Mister Supranational Thailand shared on social media after winning his title. Darcey Corria bested 19 other finalists to be crowned Miss Wales 2022 in a glittering competition held at The Riverfront in Newport on Sunday, May 8. The 21-year-old model and advocate from Barry was born to a white mother and a father of Jamaican heritage. She became the first-ever woman of color to win the Miss Wales pageant. Chepstow's Zoe Scrimshaw and Bridgend's Catrin Harries were the first and second runners-up, respectively.
