Miss World Cote d'Ivoire 2021 Olivia Yacé departs for 70th Miss World final


Miss World Cote D'Ivoire 2021 Olivia Yacé has departed for Puerto Rico to join the rest of the Top 40 semi-finalists in the 70th Miss World final next week.

The 24-year-old beauty who holds a degree in marketing and management proudly wore her country's colors in her departure outfit by Maison Elie Kuame.

In a post on social media, she shared several photos taken at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport with the caption "After 3 months of waiting, I look forward to my return to Puerto Rico to continue the Miss World adventure."

"I can't wait to be on this final date and see the most beautiful women in the world who have become sisters," she added.

Olivia also assured her followers they will be informed of her activities at the competition and encouraged everyone to stay regular on her site and share her content on Miss World's official website.

"Thank you to each of you for your constant love and support. I love you," she wrote as a final message before taking her flight to the Caribbean island.

Cote D'Ivoire's proud representative has been consistently one of the top favorites to win the Miss World title. She topped several fast track events including Top Model, Head to Head Challenge and Multimedia.

The 70th Miss World final competition will air live from the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Wednesday, March 16.

Vanessa Pulgarin from Colombia was proclaimed the winner MGI All Stars 2026 on Saturday, May 30 at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. Philippines wins second Miss Supranational crown

The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul. Malta's Maxine Formosa Gruppetta to wear 'Maltese Lira' costume at 71st Miss Universe

Miss Universe Malta 2022 Maxine Formosa Gruppetta will be wearing the national costume inspired by the Maltese lira at the 71st Miss Universe pageant. The Maltese lira was the official currency of Malta from 1972 until 2008 when it was officially replaced by the euro. Banknotes issued by the Government of Malta and then by the Central Bank of Malta were written in English up to 1972. From 1973 to 1985, they were written in Maltese on the obverse (with the currency identified as lira), and in English on the reverse (identifying the currency as pound). Ivana Carolina Irizarry, representing Puerto Rico, was crowned Universal Woman 2025 on Saturday, August 10 in Jaipur, India. The 30-year-old model, presenter and businesswoman made history as the first Puerto Rican woman to clinch the international title. She succeeds last year's winner Maria Gigante of the Philippines.
