Miss Sud Comoé, Marlène-Kany Kouassi, bested 26 other finalists to be crowned Miss Côte d'Ivoire 2022 on Saturday, July 2 at Sofitel Abidjan. Nassita Diako and Laurel Gnakpa were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Amy Touré and Paule-Nelly Kouamé completed the Top 5. Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska, Miss World CEO Julia Morley, and Miss World Europe Anna Leitch were special guests during the event. The new Miss Côte d'Ivoire, a 23-year-old law graduate and model, succeeded last year's winner and Miss World runner-up, Olivia Yacé. Miss World Cote d'Ivoire 2021 Olivia Yacé departs for 70th Miss World final

Miss World Cote D'Ivoire 2021 Olivia Yacé has departed for Puerto Rico to join the rest of the Top 40 semi-finalists in the 70th Miss World final next week. The 24-year-old beauty who holds a degree in marketing and management proudly wore her country's colors in her departure outfit by Maison Elie Kuame. In a post on social media, she shared several photos taken at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport with the caption "After 3 months of waiting, I look forward to my return to Puerto Rico to continue the Miss World adventure." "I can't wait to be on this final date and see the most beautiful women in the world who have become sisters," she added. Olivia also assured her followers they will be informed of her activities at the competition and encouraged everyone to stay regular on her site and share her content on Miss World's official website. Miss World 2021: Cote d'Ivoire's Olivia Yacé wins Top Model

Olivia Yacé of Cote D'Ivoire has won the Miss World 2021 Top Model competition held on Monday, December 6 where each contestant had the opportunity to showcase their best catwalk while wearing both national dress and designs made by Puerto Rican designers. The 23-year-old beauty will automatically advance to the quarter-final of the 70th Miss World final on Thursday, December 16 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Cameroon's Audrey Monkam and Puerto Rico's Aryam Díaz were in second and third places, respectively, while the representatives of Bahamas, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, France, Kenya, Mexico, Nicaragua, Poland, Venezuela, and Vietnam completed the Top 13. Also awarded in the same event was the Top Designer Dress winner, Tara Hong of Korea, followed Cote D'Ivoire in second place and Iraq in third place. Photos: Miss World
