Nicaragua will be represented at the 71st Miss Universe edition (Miss Universe 2022) by Norma Huembes, a 24-year-old public accountant from San Marcos, Carazo.

Set between the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, the Central American country is known for its dramatic terrain of lakes, volcanoes and beaches.

I thank God for leading me down this path, my family and friends for accompanying me since before I started this dream, my beloved town of San Marcos, and all those who have supported me."
