Miss Cabo Verde International 2022 is Stephany Amado


Cabo Verde or Cape Verde, an African archipelago and island country in the central Atlantic Ocean, will debut at the Miss International pageant later this year.

The first edition of the Miss Cabo Verde International pageant themed "Modern Women, Culturally Enriched" took place on Saturday, September 3 at Largo Amílcar Cabral in Várzea, Praia.

A total of 20 beauties took part in the glittering competition.

Stephany Amado, a 23-year-old model from Mindelo, was crowned Miss Cabo International 2022 and will represent her country at the 60th Miss International pageant in Japan this December. 

Tayrine da Veiga, 24, and Jassica Centeio, 27, were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

The first ever Miss Cabo Verde International considers herself passionate about being a positive influence and source of representation to young African women. She intends to use her platform and voice to be a beacon of hope for all young Cape Verdeans.

Agathe Cauet to represent France at the 72nd Miss World

Former Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Miss France 2023 first runner-up Agathe Cauet was announced on Monday, March 10 as Miss World France 2025. The 26-year-old former nurse was first runner-up to Miss France 2023 Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe at the national pageant in Châteauroux. Agathe will now prepare to represent France at the 72nd Miss World this May in India. She succeeds Clémence Botino who went to the 71st Miss World, also in India, and placed in the Top 40 among 112 contestants. Miss Global 2025 is Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van of Vietnam

Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van from Vietnam was crowned Miss Global 2025 on Sunday, March 9 at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi, Thailand. The 33-year-old model hailing from Lam Dong province bested over 60 other contestants to become the first Vietnamese representative to win the international beauty title. Keri-Ann Greenwood of Jamaica was named first runner-up while Ediris Rivera of Puerto Rico, Lindsay Lauren Becker of the USA, and Xena Ramos of the Philippines were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Thailand has been officially announced as the host country for the Miss Universe 2025 competition. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City. Miss Islas Baleares, Michelle Jiménez, was crowned Miss Universe Spain 2024 during the national competition held on Wednesday, September 11 in the municipality of Guía de Isora in Tenerife. The 21-year-old model triumphed over 16 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Miss America 2024 will be the 96th edition of the Miss America pageant — the nation's leading provider of scholarships for young women. The 51 state representatives have already been crowned and they will compete for the national title on January 14 at the Walt Disney Theater (Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts) in Orlando, Florida. Ofir Natalie Korsia was crowned Miss Universe Israel 2024 in a national competition held on Sunday, September 29 at the Hilton Aventura Miami in Florida. The 23-year-old actress, dancer, and model from Rishon LeZion will now prepare to represent Israel at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. This year's event marked the return of Israel to the Miss Universe pageant after a 2-year hiatus. A total of eight contestants competed for the crown. It was organized under the new national director Edgar Saakyan of Edgar Entertainment (USA), in partnership with Blue Ocean Venture Funds.
