Miss Cabo Verde International 2022 is Stephany Amado


Cabo Verde or Cape Verde, an African archipelago and island country in the central Atlantic Ocean, will debut at the Miss International pageant later this year.

The first edition of the Miss Cabo Verde International pageant themed "Modern Women, Culturally Enriched" took place on Saturday, September 3 at Largo Amílcar Cabral in Várzea, Praia.

A total of 20 beauties took part in the glittering competition.

Stephany Amado, a 23-year-old model from Mindelo, was crowned Miss Cabo International 2022 and will represent her country at the 60th Miss International pageant in Japan this December. 

Tayrine da Veiga, 24, and Jassica Centeio, 27, were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

The first ever Miss Cabo Verde International considers herself passionate about being a positive influence and source of representation to young African women. She intends to use her platform and voice to be a beacon of hope for all young Cape Verdeans.

Miss World Italy 2026 is Mia Zottoli Montanaro from Puglia

Mia Zottoli Montanaro was proclaimed the winner of Miss Mondo Italia 2026 (Miss World Italy) last Sunday, June 14 at the Ecoresort Le Sirenè in Gallipoli. The 21-year-old model and former volleyball player of Argentine descent from Taranto, Puglia was crowned by her predecessor Sofia Viola. Basma Zaid of Basilicata and Azzura Sandrini of Lombardia were announced the first and second runners-up, respectively. Caterina Noghera of Veneto, Lara Boemio of Toscana, and Ginevra Pagano of Campania rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Miss Universe Norway 2024 is Lilly Sødal from Kristiansand

Lilly Sødal was crowned Miss Norway 2024 (Miss Universe Norway 2024) during the national competition held last Saturday, August 10 at Rebel in Oslo. The 21-year-old sustainability advocate from Kristiansand received her crown from her predecessor, last year's winner Julie Tollefsen. She will now prepare to represent Norway at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. No stranger to pageantry, Lilly is a former Miss Earth Norway who competed in Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines where she made the Top 20. Athenna Crosby of California bested over 40 other contestants to win the Miss World America 2024 pageant on Sunday, November 17 in Seattle, Washington. The 26-year-old American-Venezuelan model and actress succeeds last year's winner Victoria DiSorbo and will now prepare to represent the United States of America at the 72nd Miss World. Lazio's Lucilla Nori was crowned Miss Universe Italy 2025 on Sunday, August 31 at Villa Cafiero in San Ferdinando di Puglia. The 26-year-old professional model and fashion sciences graduate from Anzio triumphed over 20 other contestants to win the national title.
