Miss Universe Kyrgyzstan 2022 is Altynai Botoyarova


Miss Kyrgyzstan 2021 Altynai Botoyarova has been officially announced on Wednesday, September 21 as Miss Universe Kyrgyzstan 2022.

The 18-year-old model, who was named Miss Kyrgyzstan in September last year, will now prepare to represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe in New Orleans, Louisiana this January. She will be the second representative of her country at Miss Universe.

Prior to winning her title, she first joined her national pageant in 2020 at age 16 and got the opportunity to compete in the 70th Miss World. Due to her desire to participate in Miss Universe instead, she gave Miss Kyrgyzstan another try the following year and won.

"My childhood dream was to compete in Miss Universe, and I wouldn't believe it if they told that five-year-old girl that dream would come true," she shared on social media.

Kyrgyzstan, a mountainous landlocked country in Central Asia, first joined the Miss Universe pageant in 2018 with Begimay Karybekova.

Giulia Zanoni, representing La Unión, was crowned Miss Universe El Salvador 2025 on Friday, September 26 at Palacio Tecleño in Santa Tecla. The 20-year-old international relations student succeeds last year's winner Florence Gisselle Garcia and will represent El Salvador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Miss Universe Portugal 2025 is Camila Vitorino

Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Andreia Correia passed on her crown to her successor at the end of the event. Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. The 24-year-old medical doctor bested 19 other competitors to win the national title. She will prepare to represent Türkiye at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Miss Universe 2026 host country and venue officially announced

The Miss Universe Organization has officially confirmed that Puerto Rico will be the host country for the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. Puerto Rican politician Jenniffer González Colón also made an announcement in a conference held on Tuesday, September 23 in San Juan. The 75th Miss Universe edition will be held in November 2026 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, the largest indoor entertainment and sports arena in Puerto Rico. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark was present at the conference alongside former winners from Puerto Rico — Deborah Carthy-Deu (1985), Dayanara Torres (1993), Denise Quiñones (2001), and Zuleyka Rivera (2006).
