Miss Universe Kyrgyzstan 2022 is Altynai Botoyarova


Miss Kyrgyzstan 2021 Altynai Botoyarova has been officially announced on Wednesday, September 21 as Miss Universe Kyrgyzstan 2022.

The 18-year-old model, who was named Miss Kyrgyzstan in September last year, will now prepare to represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe in New Orleans, Louisiana this January. She will be the second representative of her country at Miss Universe.

Prior to winning her title, she first joined her national pageant in 2020 at age 16 and got the opportunity to compete in the 70th Miss World. Due to her desire to participate in Miss Universe instead, she gave Miss Kyrgyzstan another try the following year and won.

"My childhood dream was to compete in Miss Universe, and I wouldn't believe it if they told that five-year-old girl that dream would come true," she shared on social media.

Kyrgyzstan, a mountainous landlocked country in Central Asia, first joined the Miss Universe pageant in 2018 with Begimay Karybekova.

Miss World Italy 2026 is Mia Zottoli Montanaro from Puglia

Mia Zottoli Montanaro was proclaimed the winner of Miss Mondo Italia 2026 (Miss World Italy) last Sunday, June 14 at the Ecoresort Le Sirenè in Gallipoli. The 21-year-old model and former volleyball player of Argentine descent from Taranto, Puglia was crowned by her predecessor Sofia Viola. Basma Zaid of Basilicata and Azzura Sandrini of Lombardia were announced the first and second runners-up, respectively. Caterina Noghera of Veneto, Lara Boemio of Toscana, and Ginevra Pagano of Campania rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Sayuki Ito was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2026 on Tuesday, June 23 at the Shibuya City Cultural Center in Tokyo. The 26-year-old beauty from Fukuoka Prefecture will represent Japan at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Gwendoline Soriano of Baguio City was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss International 2027 in Japan. Susana Medina from Las Palmas beat 16 other contestants to win Miss Universe Spain 2026 on Saturday, July 18 in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. The 27-year-old model and actress will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Jennifer Barreto of San Sebastián triumphed over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2026 on Thursday, June 25 in Caguas. The 27-year-old psychologist will represent Puerto Rico at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in the Caribbean island this November.
