FAVORITES: Miss Intercontinental 2022 Final Top 12 favorites

Tonight, over 70 women will be competing for the 50th Miss Intercontinental in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. One of them will succeed Cinderella Faye Obeñita of the Philippines and embark on a year-long adventure as an international titleholder.

We carefully observed each contestant's pre-pageant presentations and after taking every aspect of the competition into account, the top scorers on our leaderboard formed this list of favorites.

Dia Maté of the Philippines was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 on Sunday, February 9 at the Salón Sirionó, Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Miss Universe Brazil 2025 is Maria Gabriela Lacerda

Maria Gabriela Lacerda, representing the state of Piauí, was crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2025 on Thursday, February 13 in Alphaville, São Paulo. The 22-year-old journalist bested 23 other contestants to win the beauty title. She received her crown from Brazil's first Miss Universe winner, Miss Universe 1963 Ieda Maria Vargas. Aline Fritsch of Rio Grande do Sul and Ana Carolina Ceolin Comério of Espírito Santo were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "This crown is ours, my Piauí. Let's go together to the Universe," the new Miss Universe Brazil shared online following her victory. Maria Gabriela previously placed first runner-up when she joined the national pageant in 2021. Miss Belgium 2025 is Karen Jansen of Limburg

Karen Jansen, representing the Dutch province of Limburg, was crowned Miss Belgium 2025 on Saturday, February 15 in De Panne. The 23-year-old psychology student and freelance model from Lommel bested more than 30 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner, Kenza Ameloot. Jane Baesen and Astrid Lafaut were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Axana Carmoy and Kiana Verstraete were the other runners-up. The new Miss Belgium is now expected to represent "The Land of Waffles and Fries" at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Miss Universe 2025: Thailand to host the 74th Miss Universe pageant

Thailand has been officially announced as the host country for the Miss Universe 2025 competition. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City. Before the exciting announcement, several countries were mentioned as possible hosts including Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Spain, South Africa, Nigeria, and the Philippines. Thailand will host the prestigious pageant for the fourth time. The last time was in 2018 when the iconic Catriona Gray of the Philippines emerged as the winner. Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. She succeeds Sophie Burzynski, last year's winner and Miss USA 2023 Top 20 semifinalist. Miss Russia 2024 is Valentina Alekseeva from Chuvashia

Valentina Alekseeva was crowned Miss Russia 2024 during the national competition held on Saturday, October 5 in Moscow. The 18-year-old model from Chuvashia will now prepare to represent Russia at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this coming November. Irina Mironova from Tolyatti and Ulyana Evdokimova from St. Petersburg were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. "Honestly, I'm still in shock. It was incredible. It was a magical show, we prepped for weeks. I think it will take some time to fully grasp what happened," said the new Miss Russia after winning her title. Former Reina Hispanoamericana Teresita Marquez joins Miss Universe Philippines 2025

Former Reina Hispanoamericana titleholder Teresita Marquez is set to represent the city of Muntinlupa at the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant. Popularly known as Winwyn Marquez, the Filipino actress and mother won her country's first-ever Reina Hispanoamericana winner in 2017 in Bolivia. Born in Parañaque City to actor-politician parents Joey Marquez and Alma Moreno, Winwyn first joined Binibining Pilipinas in 2015 and then Miss World Philippines in 2017 where she claimed the first Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas title. The Miss America 2025 final competition will be held this Sunday, January 5 at The Walt Disney Theater of the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. Vietnam's Danh Chieu Linh is the new Mister Global 2021

Mister Global 2021 first runner-up Danh Chieu Linh of Vietnam was officially announced as the new Mister Global 2021 replacing Spain's Miguel Ángel Lucas Carrasco who won the title last March in Thailand. The Mister Global Organization made the official proclamation on Monday, September 5 during a press conference at Sofitel Saigon Plaza in Ho Chi Minh City. "We are so sad to announce that Miguel Ángel Lucas Carrasco has to relinquish his title due to personal reasons that make him unable to fulfill his duties as Mister Global such as traveling to countries for charitable events and inspiring the young generation," the organization's president Pradit Pradinunt said in an official statement. Former Miss Philippines Earth Yllana Marie Aduana will represent the municipality of Siniloan, Laguna, at the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant. The 26-year-old medical technology graduate and environmental education advocate was previously crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2023 in Toledo, Cebu.
