Miss Universe Armenia 2022 is Kristina Ayanian


Kristina Ayanian has been officially announced as Miss Universe Armenia 2022 on Wednesday, November 2, and will now represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe pageant.

The 25-year-old Bentley University graduate and a stock exchange company employee succeeded last year's titleholder Nane Avetisyan and will now prepare to travel to New Orleans, Louisiana, USA this January for the prestigious international competition.

No stranger to pageantry, the talented classical pianist has been joining beauty competitions from a young age and won the titles Miss Boston Preteen, Miss Massachusetts Outstanding Teen and Miss Boston. Last year, she was named Miss Grand Armenia and went on to participate in Miss Grand International in Thailand.

Armenia, a former Soviet republic in the mountainous Caucasus region between Asia and Europe, debuted at Miss Universe in 2018 with Eliza Muradyan. The country has yet to win the coveted crown.

Miss USA 2025: Meet the contestants

Miss USA 2025, the much-awaited 74th Miss USA pageant will be held on Friday, October 24 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. This year's competition marks the fourth occasion it will take place in Reno after 2019, 2022, and 2023. Also, this will be the first edition under the leadership of the new Chairman, President, and CEO, Thom Brodeur. The next Miss USA will head to Bangkok, Thailand to represent "the land of opportunity" at the highly anticipated Miss Universe 2025 pageant this November. Miss Grand International 2025 is Emma Mary Tiglao of the Philippines

Emma Mary Tiglao of the Philippines was crowned Miss Grand International 2025 on Saturday, October 18 at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 30-year-old news anchor from Mabalacat City, Pampanga bested 76 other contestants to clinch the second golden crown for the Philippines. Sarunrat Puagpipat of Thailand, Aitana Carolina Jimenez of Spain, Faith Maria Porter of Ghana, and Nariman Battikha of Venezuela were announced the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miguel Alejandro Ortega Alaniz, representing Spain, was proclaimed the winner of Mister Global 2025 on Sunday, October 5 at MCC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 26-year-old personal trainer and sports enthusiast from Valencia bested 35 other contestants to win the male beauty title. He succeeds Daumier Corilla from the Philippines. Anastasia Venza was crowned Miss Russia 2025 (Miss Universe Russia) on Saturday, October 4 at the Barvikha Luxury Village Concert Hall. The 22-year-old model and medical student from Moscow edged out 49 other contestants to win the national competition. Alena Lesnyak from Kerch and Victoria Makarova from Sestroretsk were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.
