Japan's Erina Hanawa wins Miss Tourism World 2022


Erina Hanawa, a 29-year-old Japanese-Filipino beauty representing Japan, was crowned Miss Tourism World 2022 on Saturday, December 10 in Vinh Phuc, Vietnam.

The runners-up were Justine Felizarta of the Philippines (first), Le Thi Huong of Vietnam (second), Iana Sharikova of Russia (third), and Adeduro Adetola of Nigeria (fourth).

Rounding out the Top 12 semi-finalists were from China, Hanyu Zhang; Ghana, Emmanuella Apuri; Indonesia, Ade Yunita; Italy, Maria Carmen Crescenzi; Singapore, Delvina Katerina Luther; Thailand, Pakinee Duangpattra; and Turkey, Duygu Cerit.

The continental titles were awarded to Colombia's Hazel Zuñiga Pinedo (Miss Tourism America), Thailand's Pakinee Duangpattra (Miss Tourism Asia), Ghana's Emmanuella Apuri (Miss Tourism Africa), and Turkey's Duygu Cerit (Miss Tourism Europe).

Apart from the title, the new Miss Tourism World was also awarded the Best Tourism Video along with Thailand's Pakinee Duangpattra and Siberia's Milena Vatsil.

The contestants from Kazakhstan, Ainara Milyukova, Indonesia, Ade Yunita, Philippines, Justine Felizarta, Borneo, Aziza Aznizan, South Africa, Rethabile Maloka, and Siberia, Milena Vatsil respectively, bagged the Best in Swimsuit, Best in National Costume, Best in Evening Gown, Miss Media, Miss Personality, and Miss Photogenic awards.

This year's competition themed "The Symbol of Beauty" marked the 31st edition of the Miss Tourism World pageant. Its advocacy is focused on promoting and boosting global culture and tourism.

A new crown named "The Power Of Life By IJC" was also introduced. It was inspired by the "tree of life" which symbolizes the rebirth of nature and the ability to rise and overcome fate, carrying the meaning of strong vitality, passionate desires, and expectations of people about the future.

Mister International 2023 is Kim Goodburn of Thailand

Kim Thitisan Goodburn bested 35 other competitors to win Mister International 2023 on Sunday, September 17 at the Crystal Design Center Ballroom (CDC) in Bangkok, Thailand. The 24-year-old Thai-British model and actor from Thailand also bagged the Best in National Costume award. He succeeds last year's winner Manu Franco from the Dominican Republic. William Badell of Venezuela and Edward Taiye Ogunniya of Brazil were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Lucas Schlachter of France and Shashwat Dwivedi of India rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Priyanka Annuncia was crowned Miss Universe Singapore 2023 in an Amber Lounge event held on Saturday, September 16 at Millenia Walk, Singapore. The 26-year-old entrepreneur and personal trainer who just recently completed a double major in law and criminology will now prepare to represent Singapore at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. Seven beauties were selected to take part in this year's national final of Miss Universe Singapore which was organized for the first time by the new license holder, the Pink Tank Events. Mr Lebanon 2023 is Seif Al Walid Harb

Seif Al Walid Harb was proclaimed Mr Lebanon 2023 during the broadcast of the national competition on Sunday, October 9 on MTV Lebanon. The 23-year-old fitness trainer beat 17 other young men from various Lebanese regions to win the title. He succeeds last year's winner Hady Fakhereldine and is now expected to represent his country at the Mr World pageant. Ahmad Arzouni was announced as the first runner-up while Mohammad Abyad, Anwar Shibli, and Fares Nasereldine finished as second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Completing the Top 6 and awarded Mr Personality was Jeremy Melkonian, an inspirational competitor who lost a leg in a traffic accident a few years ago. Mostafa Dabbous was named Mr Photogenic. Miss Wisconsin USA 2023 is Alexis Loomans

Dane County representative Alexis Loomans was crowned Miss Wisconsin USA 2023 during the state final held on Sunday, May 7 at the Fond du Lac Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old native of Waunakee is an ambassador for Jovani Fashions and currently pursuing a degree in political science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Not new to pageantry, Alexis is a former Miss Wisconsin Teen USA titleholder. She now succeeded last year's winner Hollis Brown and will now prepare to represent Wisconsin at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall. Miss Universe Myanmar 2023 is Amara Bo

Amara Bo was crowned Miss Universe Myanmar 2023 in the national competition held on Thursday, September 14 at the Novotel Yangon Max Hotel. The 26-year-old model representing Kengtung beat over 30 other competitors to win the title on her second try. She was in the Top 10 during last year's edition.
