Miss Intercontinental Great Britain 2023: Meet the winners


The Miss Intercontinental Great Britain 2023 pageant was held on Saturday, April 15 at The Radlett Centre in Radlett, Hertfordshire (England).

A total of nine contestants took part in the live national final where three titles were at stake — Miss Intercontinental England, Scotland, and Wales.

Reigning Miss Grand United Kingdom, Sofia Mayers, former Miss Intercontinental Ireland Nadia Sayers, and Miss Intercontinental 1994 winner Kimberly Anne Byers (USA) were in the panel of judges.

The winners were Georgia Urmson (Miss Intercontinental Wales 2023), Lana Taylor (Miss Intercontinental England 2023), and Emily Merchant (Miss Intercontinental Scotland 2023).

They will represent their respective countries at the 51st Miss Intercontinental (Miss Intercontinental 2023) world final on a date and venue yet to be announced.

The rest of the nine contestants were Shannon Allslop, Mai Caring, Lauri Knowler, Elli May Sait, Deyonne Best, and Chiara-Francesca Fox.

Former titleholder and Miss Intercontinental 2021 second runner-up who bagged the title Miss Intercontinental Europe, Romy Odile Simpkins, was announced as the national pageant's director last December. She organized the competition alongside Miss Atlantic UK 2023.

Miss Greater Bridgeport, Shavana Clarke was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2024 on Sunday, April 14 at Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport in Windsor, Connecticut. The 29-year-old model and mental health advocate will now prepare to represent the state of Connecticut at Miss USA 2024 in California this August. The beautiful contestants vying for Miss Universe Bahamas 2024 were officially revealed on Friday, April 12 online. Ten women have been selected for the opportunity to compete for the national title currently held by last year's winner Melissa Ingraham . Melissa participated in the Miss Universe 2023 pageant in San Salvador, El Salvador last November. Danika Christopherson, representing The Village, was crowned Miss Oklahoma USA 2024 on Sunday, April 14 at OCCC Performing Arts Center Theater in Oklahoma City Community College. The 23-year-old former Miss Oklahoma Teen USA succeeds last year's winner Liv Walbeck. She will now prepare for the Miss USA 2024 competition to be held in California this summer. Miss Universe Netherlands 2024: Meet the Top 16 finalists

From 60 beauties who participated during the casting day, only 16 will now move on as finalists for Miss Universe Netherlands 2024. The selection event and official announcement of the Top 16 finalists took place on Saturday, April 13 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. Previously held by Monica van Ee of the Miss Nederland organization, the license for Miss Universe Netherlands has been taken over this year by Milou Verhoeks of the Miss Beauty of the Netherlands. Last year's winner under Miss Nederland was Rikkie Valerie Kollé , the first-ever transgender woman to represent the Netherlands at the Miss Universe pageant. Miss RNB España 2024 is Elizabeth Laker from Tenerife

Elizabeth Laker was crowned Miss RNB España 2024 (Miss Supranational Spain 2024) on Saturday, April 13 at Teatre Auditori de Salou (TAS). The 25-year-old personal trainer and makeup artist from Arona, Tenerife succeeds last year's winner Lola Wilson. Martina Suárez of Valencia and Ainara Martínez of La Rioja were the first and second runners-up, respectively. The contestants from Badajoz, Paula Críspulo, Ourense, Carolina Barroso, and Pontevedra, Iris Miguélez, rounded out the Top 6 finalists. This year's event was attended by the reigning Mister Supranational from Spain, Iván Álvarez Guedes , and Miss Supranational from Ecuador, Andrea Aguilera . Miss Universe Greece 2024 is Christianna Katsieri

Christianna Katsieri has been officially announced as Miss Universe Greece 2024 by the Star & Mr GS Hellas organization. The 22-year-old model has previously held the title Miss GS Hellas 2022 and became Miss Earth Greece 2023. She went on to represent Greece at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam last December. Her predecessor Marielia Zaloumi was last year's Star GS Hellas and Miss Universe Greece, who went to Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador last November.
