Miss Mexico Supranational 2023 is Vanessa López


Miss Sonora, Vanessa López, was crowned Miss Mexico Supranational 2023 on Friday, April 13 at Teatro Mariano Matamoros in Morelia, Michoacán.

The 28-year-old model, TV host, and actress succeeded last year's winner Regina González and will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Supranational 2023 pageant in Poland this July.

Miss Nayarit, Mónica Carrillo, and Miss Chiapas, Daniela Nucamendi, were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while the representatives of Tamaulipas, Michelle Kersaint Torres, and Coahuila, Sofía De Anda, rounded out the Top 5 finalists.

No stranger to pageantry, Vanessa took part in Nuestra Belleza México 2013 (currently known as Mexicana Universal) and placed first runner-up. She went on to compete in Reina Hispanoamericana 2014 where she finished second and bagged the title Virreina Hispanoamericana.

Prior to winning her national title, she was awarded Miss Vida during the Beach Beauty competition of Miss Mexico 2023 held on Wednesday, April 12 at Club de Golf Tres Marías.

72nd Miss World heats up with contestants' arrival in Telangana, India

Miss World 2025, the 72nd Miss World competition has officially begun in Telengana, India with the arrival of over 100 contestants vying for the highly coveted title. The beauties were checked into their official residence hotel, the Trident Hotel Hyderabad, and have been rehearsing for the opening ceremony this coming Saturday, May 10 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. According to the Miss World organization, the upcoming ceremony "promises to be a vibrant display of traditional Telangana folk and tribal dance performances, beautifully choreographed in a parade-style theme that will highlight the rich cultural heritage of the region." Miss Maine USA 2024 is Anne Baldridge

Anne Baldridge was crowned Miss Maine USA 2024 in a glittering state competition held on March 10 at Boston Marriott Burlington in Burlington, Maine. The 25-year-old TV news reporter representing Casco Bay bested 11 other contestants to win the state title. She succeeds last year's winner Juliana Morehouse Locklear. Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The Miss Czech Republic 2025 national final took place on Saturday, May 3 at the Forum Karlín in Prague. Ten finalists competed the crowns at stake. Linda Górecká clinched the title of Miss World Czech Republic 2025 and is expected to represent her country at the 73rd Miss World.
