Luis Portelles to represent Canada at Mister Supranational 2023


Beauty pageant enthusiast and content creator Luis Portelles was officially announced on Saturday, April 16 as Mister Supranational Canada 2023.

The 28-year-old well-known YouTuber based in Montreal, Quebec hails from Holguin, Cuba, and is a graduate of the Université de Montréal with a degree in communication sciences.

"After years of being a devoted pageant fan and watching from the sidelines, I am grateful for the chance to finally take the stage and showcase my beautiful country," he wrote in a statement on social media.

"It is an incredible honor to wear the Canada sash and represent a country that has given me so much. I am excited to bring my best to the competition," he added.

Luis will now prepare to represent Canada at the Mister Supranational 2023 pageant in Małopolska, Poland this July.

Polish-American Emily Reng to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2025

Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Emily is a graduate of John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois and is currently a student at the University of South Carolina. The new Miss Universe Poland is no stranger to pageantry. Prior to competing at Miss Polonia 2024 where she finished second runner-up, she won the title of Miss Polish America 2024 in Chicago. Miss Universe 2025 competition kicks off in Bangkok, Thailand

The 74th Miss Universe pageant has officially commenced in Bangkok, Thailand, as over 120 beauties from across the world gather to vie for the most coveted crown. Clad in their arrival ensembles, the contestants were escorted to the Chatrium Hotel & Residence Riverside Bangkok, one of the official accommodations for this year's event. Following their arrivals, among the initial official activities lined up for the contestants were registrations, photoshoots, fittings, and rehearsals for the grand finale. Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal.
