Miss Supranational 2023 kicks off in Małopolska, Poland


Miss Supranational 2023, the 14th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant has officially kicked off in Małopolska, Poland.

Following their arrival to the host country, over 60 Supra beauties from around the world were officially introduced during the opening ceremony on Tuesday, June 27 at the Hotel Czarny Potok Resort Spa & Conference in Krynica Zdrój.

Standouts were from Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, India, Nicaragua, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.

This year's final will take place on Friday, July 14 at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz. Former Miss South Africa Jo-Ann Strauss will host the much-awaited event.

California's Athenna Crosby crowned Miss World America 2024

Athenna Crosby of California bested over 40 other contestants to win the Miss World America 2024 pageant on Sunday, November 17 in Seattle, Washington. The 26-year-old American-Venezuelan model and actress succeeds last year's winner Victoria DiSorbo and will now prepare to represent the United States of America at the 72nd Miss World. Kimberly Nwankolo of Oregon was named first runner-up while Anne Li of the District of Columbia, Aishwarya Kumar of Central Washington, and Heather Alexia Santos of Washington were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Netherlands 2026 is Melissa Bottema from Groningen

Melissa Bottema was proclaimed the winner of Miss Netherlands 2026 (Miss Universe Netherlands) on Saturday, June 27 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 25-year-old social worker, gymnastics coach and model from Groningen was crowned by her predecessor Nathalie Mogbelzada who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025 last November in Bangkok, Thailand. The new Miss Netherlands is no stranger to pageantry. She has previously competed in Miss Intercontinental where she made the Top 20 and Miss Grand International where she placed 5th runner-up. Kamilla Kiss, 25, was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2026 on Friday, June 19 at Kálmán Imre Theater in Budapest. She beat 11 other contestants to win the national competition and will now prepare to represent Hungary at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Miss Universe Ireland 2026 is Aideen Howard from Limerick

Aideen Howard beat over 20 other contestants to win Miss Universe Ireland 2026 on Saturday, June 20 at the Bonnington Hotel in Dublin. The 22-year-old model and student from Castletroy, Limerick, was crowned by her predecessor Aadya Srivastava from Galway. She will now prepare to represent Ireland at Miss Universe 2026 in Puerto Rico this November.
