Ecuador's Andrea Aguilera wins Miss Supranational 2023


Andrea Aguilera of Ecuador was crowned Miss Supranational 2023 in a glittering event held on Friday, July 13 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland.

The 22-international business student bested 64 other competitors to win her country's first Miss Supranational title. She succeeds last year's winner Lalela Mswane of South Africa.

Pauline Amelinckx of the Philippines was named first runner-up while Sancler Frantz of Brazil, Emma Rose Collingridge of the United Kingdom, and Ngan Dang Thanh of Vietnam were announced as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

The continental queens were from Zimbabwe, Sakhile Dube, India, Pragnya Ayyagari, Peru, Valeria Flórez, Curacao, Andreina Pereira, and Gibraltar, Michelle Lopez Desoisa.

No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Supranational previously held the title of Miss Grand Ecuador and went on to participate in Miss Grand International 2021 in Bangkok, Thailand where she placed first runner-up.

This year's competition hosted by former Miss South Africa Jo-Ann Strauss and Polish actor Martin Fitch marked the 14th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant.

Miss Michigan USA 2024 is Alma Cooper

Miss Okemos, Alma Cooper was crowned Miss Michigan USA 2024 on Sunday, April 21 at McMorran Entertainment Center in Port Huron, Michigan. The 22-year-old scholar, advocate and US Army officer will now prepare to represent Michigan at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California this August. Alma holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point. The second lieutenant officer is also a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, currently pursuing her master's degree in data science at Stanford University in California. She succeeds last year's winner, Alexis Fagan-Williams. Breea Yamat was crowned Miss Hawaii USA 2024 during the state final competition held on Friday, April 19 at Royal Hawaii Center Theater. The 27-year-old Mexican-Filipina beauty from Oahu will now prepare to represent Hawaii at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California in August. She succeeds last year's winner,  Savannah Gankiewicz , who placed first runner-up at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada last September. Miss Greater Bridgeport, Shavana Clarke was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2024 on Sunday, April 14 at Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport in Windsor, Connecticut. The 29-year-old model and mental health advocate will now prepare to represent the state of Connecticut at Miss USA 2024 in California this August. Ukraine's Angelina Usanova crowned Miss Eco International 2024

Angelina Usanova from Ukraine was crowned Miss Eco International 2024 on Sunday, April 28 at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in Cairo, Egypt. The 26-year-old singer-songwriter bested over 40 other contestants to win the international title. She succeeds last year's winner from Vietnam, Nguyen Thanh Ha. Chantal Schmidt of the Philippines was announced first runner-up while Nikita Dani of Canada, Fabiane Alcarde Goia of Brazil, and Valerie Avril of Indonesia were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. This year's event marked the 9th edition of the Miss Eco International pageant. It was also the first time for Ukraine to win the competition. Miss Philippines Earth 2024: Meet the winners of the beach wear competition

The Miss Philippines Earth 2024 Beach Wear Competition was held on Thursday, April 25 in Borongan City, the capital of the province of Eastern Samar. Sam Samara of Makati City bagged the gold medal while the representatives of Iligan City, Kristel Codas, and Matanao, Davao Del Sur, Irha Mel Inutan Alfeche were awarded silver and bronze, respectively. A total of 29 contestants from all over the country are currently competing for this year's coveted title. The national final will be held on May 11 in Talakag, Bukidnon. The official contestants vying for Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2024 were finally revealed on Thursday, April 18 at the mayor's office in San Juan. This year's competition will have 28 of the island's most beautiful women selected to compete for the coveted national title. One of them will be the successor of Karla Guilfú Acevedo, reigning Miss Universe Puerto Rico and Miss Universe 2023 Top 5 finalists. Mister Supranational South Africa 2024 is Fezile Mkhize

Former Mr World South Africa, Fezile Mkhize, was officially announced as Mister Supranational South Africa 2024 on Saturday, April 27 at Asteria Group Holdings in Pretoria. The 33-year-old medical doctor and television presenter succeeds last year's winner  Tylo Ribeiro and will now prepare to represent South Africa at Mister Supranational 2024 in Poland this July. Hlumelo Matsha was named first runner-up while Michael Benevolent finished as second runner-up. The new Mister Supranational South Africa hails from Port Shepstone in KwaZulu Natal and is now based in Johannesburg. He lost his father at a young age and during the competition, he said that losing several family members in the past few years has encouraged him to work harder to live life fully and make a difference in the lives of others.
