Miss World America 2023 is Victoria DiSorbo of Tennessee


Victoria DiSorbo was crowned Miss World America 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, October 5 at the Meydenbauer Center Theatre in Bellevue, Washington.

The 25-year-old representing the state of Tennessee will now prepare to compete on behalf of the United States of America at Miss World 2023 in India this December. She succeeds Shree Saini, Miss World America 2020 who placed first runner-up at the 70th Miss World.

Athenna Crosby of Utah, Jade Lin Glab of the District of Columbia, Nkechi Okorie of Minnesota, and María Cepero Jimenez of Connecticut were the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

The rest of the Top 10 finalists were Jeevisha Shukla of Kentucky, Sophia Ortiz of Texas, Samantha Vocatura of Vermont, Alondra de la Torre of Washington, and Leikyn Bravo of Wisconsin.

Natalie De Ferrari of the East Coast, Jocelyn Torres of Florida, Clarissa Ren of Maryland, Carolina Cooney of Massachusetts, Monica Aguilar of Nevada, Victoria Ababio of New Jersey, Ashley Wells of New York, Khadesia Walker of the Northeast, Dhruvi Patel of Rhode Island, and Kailey Wadsworth of South Carolina were the Top 20 semifinalists.

The new Miss World America is of Italian-American descent hailing from South Florida. She is an entrepreneur, author, and advocate for cystic fibrosis. No stranger to pageantry, she previously won the title of Miss Florida Teen USA and went on to compete in Miss Teen USA 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona.

The coronation ball for The Miss Philippines 2026 took place on Sunday, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom in City of Dreams Manila. Hosted by former titleholder and Miss Supranational runner-up Pauline Amelinckx, the glittering event was graced by reigning international queens Miss Cosmo 2025 Yolina Lindquist and Miss Charm 2025 Anna Blanco. Nadia Mejia-Webb crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025

Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Daphne Currat of Tungurahua and Christie Termidor of Región Sierra were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. After 17 years, former Miss France Sylvie Tellier has officially announced her departure from the Miss France organization. The 44-year-old took to social media on Wednesday, August 31 to make a public statement on her decision to leave, which was made "with a lot of emotion because you don't leave a company after 17 years without memories in your head." Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket.
