Miss World Myanmar 2023 is Yoon Theint Theint Nway


Yoon Theint Theint Nway bested 13 other competitors to be crowned Miss World Myanmar 2023 on Sunday, October 1 at the Hexagon Complex in Yangon.

The 19-year-old Danu ethnic beauty from Pindaya in the Southern Shan State will now prepare to represent Myanmar at Miss World 2023 in India this December.

In addition to the national title, she also bagged several awards including the Media's Choice, the People's Choice, and the Beauty With A Purpose.

Thandar Soe was named first runner-up while Zan Htate Htar, May Mon, and Thet Htar Khin were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss World Myanmar succeeds Khit Lin Latt Yoon, the winner from 2019 who took part in the 69th Miss World pageant in London.

Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 is Clara Vegas of Miranda

Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico. Maria Evangelista Alayon of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Milena Paola Soto of Mérida, Gabriela de la Cruz of Yaracuy, and Gabriela Villegas of Monagas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Earth 2022 is Mina Sue Choi, first winner from Korea

Mina Sue Choi of Korea bested over 80 other competitors to win Miss Earth 2022 in a glittering competition held on Tuesday, November 29 at Cove Manila, Okada Manila in the Philippines. The 24-year-old communication student succeeded Destiny Wagner of Belize and became her country's first-ever Miss Earth winner. She also bagged three gold medals for the swimsuit, beach wear, and long gown competition, and one bronze for resort wear. Miss Universe Japan 2025 is Kaori Hashimoto from Tochigi Prefecture

Kaori Hashimoto was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, July 16 in Shibuya. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Saki Fujita and Reina Ishii were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Chiemi Takayama and Naomi Monique Kamidate were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. Kaya Chakrabortty, last year's winner who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2024 held in Mexico, crowned her successor at the end of the event. Russia's Varvara Yakovenko wins Miss Intercontinental 2025

Varvara Yakovenko beat over 50 other contestants to win Miss Intercontinental 2025 on Thursday, January 29 at V Hotel Sahl Hasheesh in Egypt. The 18-year-old model became the fourth woman from Russia to hold the international beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner María Cepero from Puerto Rico. Lorena Suárez Lara from Cuba was named first runner-up while Vanessa Natcha Wenk of Thailand and Faidha Kassim Kivuyo of Tanzania were the second and third runners-up, respectively. Kim Thitisan Goodburn was proclaimed Mister International Thailand 2023 in a national competition held on Sunday, September 3 at MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi. The 24-year-old Thai-British model and actor bested 27 other competitors to win the national title.
