Miss World Myanmar 2023 is Yoon Theint Theint Nway


Yoon Theint Theint Nway bested 13 other competitors to be crowned Miss World Myanmar 2023 on Sunday, October 1 at the Hexagon Complex in Yangon.

The 19-year-old Danu ethnic beauty from Pindaya in the Southern Shan State will now prepare to represent Myanmar at Miss World 2023 in India this December.

In addition to the national title, she also bagged several awards including the Media's Choice, the People's Choice, and the Beauty With A Purpose.

Thandar Soe was named first runner-up while Zan Htate Htar, May Mon, and Thet Htar Khin were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss World Myanmar succeeds Khit Lin Latt Yoon, the winner from 2019 who took part in the 69th Miss World pageant in London.

Former Miss Earth Paraguay Gretha Matiauda has recently been appointed as her country's official representative in the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. Miss Santa Monica, Samantha Ramos was crowned Miss California USA 2024 on Sunday, June 23 at the Hyatt Regency Orange County in Garden Grove. The Mexican-American mentor, model, and restaurant franchisee from Fullerton will now prepare to represent California at the Miss USA 2024 pageant in Hollywood, California this August. Following the arrival of the 29 contestants vying for Reina Hispanoamericana 2022, an official presentation took place on Monday, March 13 at the Radisson Hotel in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Standouts were the representatives of Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Haiti, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, and the USA. Prior to the red carpet presentation, the contestants earlier received their official sashes with the names of the countries or territories they represent. Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket.
