Miss Supranational Cuba 2024 is María José Cetina


María José Cetina Alfonso was crowned Miss Supranational Cuba 2024 in a glittering ceremony held on Sunday, March 24 at Cuz Miami in Doral, Florida.

The 19-year-old medical student hailing from Camagüey, Cuba will now prepare to compete for Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland this July.

Aside from the new Miss Supranational Cuba, Branden Alaen was also proclaimed as Mister Supranational Cuba 2024 during Sunday's event.

The international model, recording artist, and growth and accountability coach will also travel to Poland for Mister Supranational 2024.

They both succeeded last year's titleholders, Monica Aguilar and Richard Acosta.

Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 is Dia Maté of the Philippines

Dia Maté of the Philippines was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 on Sunday, February 9 at the Salón Sirionó, Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Cavite became the second Filipina to win the international pageant next to Teresita Ssen Marquez who won in 2017. She also bagged the Best in National Costume award. Her costume "Banaag" by Ehrran Montoya was inspired by her country's baroque churches recognized in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Sofia Férnandez of Venezuela was named Virreina while Sharon Gamara of Colombia, Carolina Barroso of Spain, Nikita Palma of Peru, Julia de Castro of Brazil, and Zuzanna Balonek of Poland were the runners-up. Miss Universe 2025: Thailand to host the 74th Miss Universe pageant

Thailand has been officially announced as the host country for the Miss Universe 2025 competition. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City. Before the exciting announcement, several countries were mentioned as possible hosts including Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Spain, South Africa, Nigeria, and the Philippines. Melloney Dassanayake was crowned Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2024 during the national competition held on Friday, September 27 at Citrus Waskaduwa. The 25-year-old banker and professional model from Colombo beat 17 other contestants to win the title and will now represent Sri Lanka at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. Indonesia is set to debut at Reina Hispanoamericana 2023 as Ivan Gunawan, founder of Yayasan Dunia Mega Bintang, has been officially announced as a license holder. The first-ever Reina Hispanoamericana Indonesia will be chosen among the Top 5 finalists of the upcoming Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia 2023 pageant. Originally called Reina Sudamericana until 2007, Reina Hispanoamericana is a Bolivia-based international beauty pageant organized by Promociones Gloria since 1991.
