Miss Namibia 2024: Meet the Top 10 finalists


From the Top 20, only 10 finalists have been selected to continue their journey to the Miss Namibia 2024 crown.

The Top 10 were officially revealed during the preliminary competition held on Saturday, May 11 at Droombos Windhoek.

This year's much-awaited final competition date and venue have yet to be announced.

The Miss Namibia organization headed by Umbi Karuaihe-Upi currently holds the national license for Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss Earth pageants.

Last year's winner Jameela Uiras went to Miss Universe 2023 last November in El Salvador where she placed in the Top 20.

Due to Miss World rules, Namibia's next Miss World representative has to be a national winner. Last year's first runner-up, Albertina Haimbala, was designated for Miss Earth 2024 instead of the 72nd Miss World.

Last year's second runner-up Martha Kautenavali went on to participate in Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam last December.

Miss Grand International 2025 is Emma Mary Tiglao of the Philippines

Emma Mary Tiglao of the Philippines was crowned Miss Grand International 2025 on Saturday, October 18 at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 30-year-old news anchor from Mabalacat City, Pampanga bested 76 other contestants to clinch the second golden crown for the Philippines. Sarunrat Puagpipat of Thailand, Aitana Carolina Jimenez of Spain, Faith Maria Porter of Ghana, and Nariman Battikha of Venezuela were announced the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Laura Ramos of Colombia, Markéta Mörwicková of the Czech Republic, Ana-Sofía Lendl of Guatemala, Montserrat Villalva of Mexico, and Beatrice Alex Akyoo made the Top 10 and were all named fifth runners-up. Miss USA 2025: Meet the contestants

Miss USA 2025, the much-awaited 74th Miss USA pageant will be held on Friday, October 24 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. This year's competition marks the fourth occasion it will take place in Reno after 2019, 2022, and 2023. Also, this will be the first edition under the leadership of the new Chairman, President, and CEO, Thom Brodeur. The next Miss USA will head to Bangkok, Thailand to represent "the land of opportunity" at the highly anticipated Miss Universe 2025 pageant this November. Miguel Alejandro Ortega Alaniz, representing Spain, was proclaimed the winner of Mister Global 2025 on Sunday, October 5 at MCC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 26-year-old personal trainer and sports enthusiast from Valencia bested 35 other contestants to win the male beauty title. He succeeds Daumier Corilla from the Philippines. Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2025 on Sunday, September 14 at LaChateau Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. The 21-year-old beauty from Dak Lak triumphed over 34 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Vo Le Que Anh. Miss Lebanon 2024 first runner-up Sarah Leena Boujaoude has recently been officially appointed as Miss Universe Lebanon 2025. The 20-year-old fashion model and a finance student at the American University of Beirut will represent Lebanon at Miss Universe 2025. Melissa Queenie Sapini was officially crowned Miss Universe Haiti 2025 in a special ceremony held on Saturday, October 18 at The Palm Theater (Embassy Suites) in Boca Raton, Florida. The 22-year-old Haitian-American TV host will now prepare to represent Haiti at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Universe Haiti is a former Miss Massachusetts USA. She competed in Miss USA 2024 in Los Angeles, California and made the Top 10.
