Miss Montana USA 2024 is Shelby Dangerfield


Miss Billings, Shelby Dangerfield was crowned Miss Montana USA 2024 during the state final on Sunday, June 16 at the Petro Theater on the Montana State University-Billings campus.

The 30-year-old, born and raised in Billings, Montana, succeeds last year's winner Madyson Rigg.

"Montana I am so proud to represent our values and our work ethic in preparation for Miss USA," she wrote online after winning her title.

She added: "I know this season of preparation is going to go by so fast, however I'm thrilled for it and for year ahead. Excitement and gratitude are two of my greatest emotions right now."

Shelby holds a degree in musical theater from Coastal Carolina University. She is currently working as a commercial insurance advisor in an insurance agency in her home state.

The new Miss Montana USA will now prepare to represent "The Treasure State" at the Miss USA 2024 pageant in Hollywood, California this August.

Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. This year's much-talked-about edition marked Thailand's fourth time hosting the prestigious beauty pageant after 1992, 2005, and 2018. Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 24-year-old designer from Teapa, Tabasco triumphed over 30 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Miss Universe Argentina 2025 is Aldana Masset of Entre Rios

Aldana Masset was crowned Miss Universe Argentina 2025 on Sunday, May 25 at Mansión Tango in Buenos Aires. The 25-year-old singer and image consultant from the province of Entre Rios beat 27 other contestants to win the national title. Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Andreia Correia passed on her crown to her successor at the end of the event.
