Miss Montana USA 2024 is Shelby Dangerfield


Miss Billings, Shelby Dangerfield was crowned Miss Montana USA 2024 during the state final on Sunday, June 16 at the Petro Theater on the Montana State University-Billings campus.

The 30-year-old, born and raised in Billings, Montana, succeeds last year's winner Madyson Rigg.

"Montana I am so proud to represent our values and our work ethic in preparation for Miss USA," she wrote online after winning her title.

She added: "I know this season of preparation is going to go by so fast, however I'm thrilled for it and for year ahead. Excitement and gratitude are two of my greatest emotions right now."

Shelby holds a degree in musical theater from Coastal Carolina University. She is currently working as a commercial insurance advisor in an insurance agency in her home state.

The new Miss Montana USA will now prepare to represent "The Treasure State" at the Miss USA 2024 pageant in Hollywood, California this August.

Asia Rose Simpson from Quezon City was crowned Miss World Philippines 2026 during the national final of the pageant held on Tuesday, February 3 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 18-year-old Filipino-American beauty also bagged the Best in Swimsuit, Best in Talent, and Beauty with a Purpose award. Varvara Yakovenko beat over 50 other contestants to win Miss Intercontinental 2025 on Thursday, January 29 at V Hotel Sahl Hasheesh in Egypt. The 18-year-old model became the fourth woman from Russia to hold the international beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner María Cepero from Puerto Rico.
