Miss World Hungary 2024 is Andrea Katzenbach


Andrea Katzenbach was crowned Miss World Hungary 2024 in a glittering national competition held last Sunday, June 23 in Budapest.

The 23-year-old marketing coordinator from Kiskőrös edged out 14 other contestants to win the title. She succeeds last year's winner Boglárka Hacsi and will represent her country at the 72nd Miss World.

Jázmin Cseh from Dunakes and Alexandra Horváth from Mezőörs were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Kamilla Kiss and Rebeka Dalma Szivos rounded out the Top 5 finalists.

"I experienced one of the most beautiful moments of my life yesterday. I did not yet realize that I was the chosen one to represent Hungary in 2024 at the Miss World competition," the new Miss World Hungary shared online.

"It is a great honor and I will try with all my strength to do my best in the future and represent the country with dignity. Thank you to everyone who has believed in me and supported me, I am extremely happy," she added.

Former Miss World France Ophély Mézino was crowned Miss Universe Guadeloupe 2025 in a special coronation ceremony held on Saturday, July 12. The 26-year-old model succeeds last year's titleholder Coraly Desplan and will now prepare to represent Guadeloupe at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Ornella Millitie was named first runner-up while Océane Millitie, Judith Brumant-Lachoua, and Madly Marian were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Lao-Kiwi Abbigail Sturgin was crowned Miss Universe New Zealand 2025 on Tuesday, June 24 at the SkyCity Theatre in Auckland. The 28-year-old police officer succeeds last year's winner Victoria Velasquez Vincent and will represent New Zealand at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November.
