Miss Universe Curacao 2025: Meet the contestants

The five stunning contestants vying for the title of Miss Universe Curacao 2025 have been officially revealed. Their bio and official photos have been posted on the pageant's social media page.

One of them will succeed last year's winner Kimberly de Boer and will represent the Dutch Caribbean island at the Miss Universe 2025 competition in Thailand this November.

Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark has been announced to visit the island this June to crown the next Miss Universe Curacao.

Who will head to the 74th Miss Universe?

Meet the contestants:

Sashelle Antasia Johnson
 — a 19-year-old law student whose strength and determination defy her young age.

Born in Jamaica and raised in Curacao, Sashelle turned early experiences of loss, bullying, and anxiety into a powerful journey of perseverance and advocacy.

With her passion for justice and her dream to inspire others, she is ready to stand tall on the Miss Universe Curacao stage and show the world that resilience, kindness, and self-belief can change lives.

Gillian Bentoera — a 27-year-old proud mother, entrepreneur, and woman of profound faith.

From facing the hidden battles of postpartum depression to building an international beauty business, Gillian has transformed every challenge into purpose.

With her heart rooted in healing and empowerment, she’s stepping into the Miss Universe Curacao journey to inspire mothers, daughters, and women everywhere to reclaim their strength and break generational cycles.

Khalida Halime Naycir — a 21-year-old future architect whose story spans two worlds from Lebanon to Curacao.

Growing up in a strict culture far from her parents, Khalida learned the true meaning of faith, patience, and inner strength.

Now home, she’s building a future defined by resilience, courage, and limitless dreams. With a passion for equality and personal freedom, Khalida is ready to raise her voice and create lasting change.

Camille Sabina Thomas — a 26-year-old actress, former military academy officer, entrepreneur, and leader who has turned life’s challenges into a mission of hope. Raised in Curacao with a rich blend of cultures.

Camille’s journey from military academy leadership to professional theater shaped her resilience and passion for empowering others.

Now she’s ready to use her voice to speak about silent struggles like emotional abuse, and to inspire Curacao to rise above adversity with strength and heart.

Samiah Carmen Theresa Booi — a 26-year-old legal consultant, sustainability advocate, and community-rooted changemaker.

With a background in law, a passion for regenerative living, and a personal journey shaped by resilience, Samiah bridges the gap between justice, wellness, and nature.

From overcoming family hardships and natural disasters to launching a social movement that reconnects people with the land, she is redefining what it means to live with purpose.

Through her initiative “The Nursery”, she inspires Curacao and the world to grow stronger by returning to our roots, nurturing our communities, and healing through connection.
