Miss Universe Honduras 2025 is Alejandra Fuentes of Olancho


Alejandra Fuentes was crowned Miss Universe Honduras 2025 in a glittering national competition held on July 10 in San Pedro Sula.

The 31-year-old from Olancho succeeds last year's winner Stephanie Cam and will represent Honduras at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November.

Woldie Duron of Tegucigalpa, Valeria Gonzalez of Copán and Luisa Pineda of San Pedro Sula were the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively.

Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark visited the country to attend the national pageant as special guest.

The new Miss Universe Honduras holds a degree in international relations and a master's in corporate communication. She is passionate about advocating for human rights and mental health.

"You can't imagine the excitement and commitment I feel wearing this sash and crown that certifies me as your Miss Universe Honduras," Alejandra shared online.

"I'm ready to begin this adventure with you, and above all, ready to work for my country," she added.

The inaugural edition of the Reina Filipinas beauty pageant was held on Friday, August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Palawan's Angelica Lopez, former Miss International Philippines, was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss Miss Grand International 2026 pageant this October. Aslihan Morali, from Ancaster, Ontario, was crowned Miss Universe Canada 2026 on Saturday, August 8 at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor. The Turkish-Canadian advocate, entrepreneur, model and actor succeeds last year's winner Jaime VandenBerg and will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Tharina Botes, representing Bangkok, was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2026 on Sunday, August 23 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 29-year-old beauty beat over 70 other contestants to win the national title and she will now represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2026 in Puerto Rico this November. The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil.
