Miss Universe Armenia 2025 is Peggy Garabekian


American-Armenian Peggy Garabekian bested nine other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Armenia 2025 in a recently held national competition.

The 30-year-old international model and human rights advocate residing in Los Angeles, California will represent Armenia at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November.

No stranger to pageantry, Peggy has already joined several pageants prior to becoming Miss Universe Armenia. She has competed in Miss Asia USA, Miss United Nations, Miss World America, Miss California USA, and recently won Miss Vizcaya Swimwear.

"The Armenian community has always been a huge support system for me. My friends and my family have been the pillars to my entire foundation of pageantry so I'm very thankful for them. Had it not been for them i would not be as far as I've gotten now," shared the new Miss Universe Armenia shorty after winning her title.

When asked for the legacy she wanted to leave Armenians with her beauty title, she replied: "With the honor of being Miss Universe Armenia 2025, i will continue to use my platform to bring light to the Armenian people, our culture, our rich history."

She also said: "I'm passionate about empowering young girls and women worldwide, bringing awareness to organizations that fight for equal rights and justice. Above all, i want to inspire new generations of leaders driven by purpose and faith."

Vietnam to host the 73rd Miss World competition this summer

Vietnam, the land of the "Ascending Dragon", has been revealed as the official host country of the 73rd Miss World (Miss World 2026) competition. The official announcement was made during the Miss World Vietnam final on March 29 by Miss World CEO and Chairperson Julia Morley CBE and representatives of Sen Vàng, the local organizers and co-producers of the event. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 24-year-old designer from Teapa, Tabasco triumphed over 30 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Meet the winners of Miss Turkey 2025

The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational. Sıla Saraydemir, a 22-year-old student, was crowned Miss Turkey World 2025. She is expected to represent Turkey at the 73rd Miss World competition whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Miss Universe Japan 2025 is Kaori Hashimoto from Tochigi Prefecture

Kaori Hashimoto was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, July 16 in Shibuya. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Saki Fujita and Reina Ishii were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Chiemi Takayama and Naomi Monique Kamidate were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. Kaya Chakrabortty, last year's winner who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2024 held in Mexico, crowned her successor at the end of the event. Miss Turkey 2024: Idil Bilgen wins Miss Turkey World 2024

Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. The 24-year-old medical doctor bested 19 other competitors to win the national title. She will prepare to represent Türkiye at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Cemre Üker clinched the Miss Turkey Supranational 2024 crown and will head to Poland to compete in Miss Supranational 2025 next summer.
