Miss Universe Ireland 2025 is Aadya Srivastava from Headford


Aadya Srivastava from Headford, County Galway was crowned Miss Universe Ireland 2025 on Saturday, October 4 at Hilton Dublin Airport Hotel.

The 18-year-old beauty of Indian descent will represent Ireland at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. She succeeds last year's winner Sofia Labus from Cork.

Natalia Gradzka and Maksuda Akhter were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss Universe Ireland is currently studying law, politics and economics at the University of Galway and hopes to pursue a career in international human rights law.

"As a woman and a first generation immigrant from Indian heritage, I want the opportunity to amplify the voices of diversity and resilience," Aadya wrote in her bio for the pageant.

"I have grown up with a deep understanding of how opportunity, equality, and diversity are not always guaranteed and how important it is to protect the most fundamental rights of women and people of all genders and backgrounds," she added.

Miss World Thailand 2026 is Kanteera Techaphattanakul of Chiang Mai

Kanteera "Namphueng" Techaphattanakul was proclaimed Miss World Thailand 2026 on Sunday, May 10 at MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Bangkok. The 25-year-old medical technologist representing Chiang Mai beat 20 other contestants to win the national title. She was crowned by her predecessor Opal Suchata Chuangsri who became Thailand's first Miss World last year. Malaika Khan and Jirapat Dathumma were respectively announced the first and second runners-up while Atina Khontarosaphan Vasnaarchasakul and Pannika Boonsiritakorn rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Miss Universe Côte d'Ivoire 2025 Olivia Yacé has officially announced on Monday, November 24 her resignation as Miss Universe Africa and Oceania. Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. After 17 years, former Miss France Sylvie Tellier has officially announced her departure from the Miss France organization. The 44-year-old took to social media on Wednesday, August 31 to make a public statement on her decision to leave, which was made "with a lot of emotion because you don't leave a company after 17 years without memories in your head." The spectacular Miss Universe Philippines 2026 national costume competition took place on Thursday, April 16 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan. Danielle Latimer beat over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Great Britain 2025 on Saturday, July 26 at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales.
