Anđela Gajić was crowned Miss Bosnia and Herzegovina 2023 (Miss World Bosnia and Herzegovina 2023) last June 25 at the Bosnian Cultural Center in Tuzla. The 18-year-old model from Banja Luka bested 20 other competitors to win the national title. She succeeds Adna Biber and will now represent her country at the 71st Miss World (Miss World 2023) in India later this year. "Thank you to everyone who has been with me, and especially to my agency [ABC Models Management], who taught me many things and motivated me to achieve this kind of success," she wrote in a statement on social media. Miss Denmark 2021 Johanne Grundt Hansen has been officially appointed as Miss World Denmark 2023 and will represent her country at the 71st Miss World pageant. The 21-year-old is a sales assistant and part-time model from Fensmark. She holds a black belt in karate, a big passion she practiced for over 12 years. According to Miss Denmark Organization, Johanne is an ambassador for Plastic Change, a Danish NGO that aims to raise awareness about the growing plastic pollution in the oceans and the water environment. The new Miss World Denmark is no stranger to international pageantry. After winning Miss Denmark 2021, she was appointed as Miss Supranational Denmark and went to the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Diana Spotarenko won the Miss Moldova 2023 (Miss World Moldova 2023) national competition on Monday, May 8 at the Radisson Blu Leogrand Hotel in Chişinău. The 20-year-old beauty from Gagauzia bested over 20 other competitors to win the title. She was crowned by Miss Moldova 2019 Elizaveta Kuznetsova. Djulieta Calalb and Daniella Kovall were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. "It is hard for me to describe in words the emotions I feel. I am happy and proud of myself that I found the courage to participate in this wonderful contest," shared the new Miss Moldova. María Victoria Bayo Martínez was crowned Miss Mundo Dominicana 2023 (Miss World Dominican Republic 2023) on Saturday, April 15 at Gran Teatro del Cibao in Santiago de los Caballeros. The 23-year-old model and athlete from Santiago holds a degree in business administration and international business from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. "I want to thank God, my family, and especially the Miss Mundo Dominicana organization for putting all their trust in me," she wrote in a statement on social media. "Since my childhood, I have represented Cibao in sports and academic events at the national level and with great pride. Miss World Montenegro 2023 is Andjela Vukadinovic

Andjela Vukadinovic (Anđela Vukadinović) was crowned Miss Crne Gore 2023 (Miss Montenegro / Miss World Montenegro) in a national pageant held last March 11 at the Regent Porto Montenegro. The 22-year-old model and economics student from Tivat bested 11 other finalists to win her title. She also bagged two special awards — Miss Photogenic and Face of the Regent Hotel. Katarina Lukovac and Maša Žugić were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Anastasija Dragović and Monika Radović rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Out of hundreds of applications, a total of only 12 contestants were selected to take part in this year's final competition. Hannah Karema Tumukunde has been crowned Miss Uganda 2023/2024 in a glittering show held on Saturday, March 18 at UMA Multipurpose Hall in Kampala, Uganda. The 20-year-old model from Nakaseke bested 20 other competitors to win her national title. She succeeded Elizabeth Bagaya and will prepare to represent Uganda at the 71st Miss World in India later this year. Whitney Martha Ademum and Premah Prossy Agwang were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Jesca Sserwadda and Jerusha Muwanguzi were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. Hosted by Mitch Egwang and Anita Fabiola, this year's final event marked the return of the Miss Uganda pageant following a three-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ashley Carrington edged out five other contestants to win Miss World Barbados 2023 on Saturday, March 11 at The Walled Garden Theatre, Barbados Museum & Historical Society in Bridgetown. The 23-year-old animal lover, model, and management student at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, will now prepare to represent Barbados at the 71st Miss World edition in India later this year. She succeeded Miss World Barbados 2019 Che Amor Greenidge who participated in the Miss World 2019 pageant held in London, United Kingdom. Miss Ukraine 2023 winner will be chosen through online voting

For the first time in history, the next Miss Ukraine who will represent her country at Miss World 2023 will be chosen only through online voting. The announcement was made in Kyiv by the chairperson of the Miss Ukraine Committee, Veronika Shchiptsova, who also mentioned the importance of running the competition despite the military aggression in the country. According to Veronika, it will be an opportunity for the next Ukrainian representative on the prestigious global stage to draw attention to the ongoing conflict. The casting was done in person and online as some aspirants were forced to travel abroad. A total of 15 selected finalists, yet to be announced, will be vying for the national title.
