Miss World Denmark 2023 is Johanne Grundt Hansen


Miss Denmark 2021 Johanne Grundt Hansen has been officially appointed as Miss World Denmark 2023 and will represent her country at the 71st Miss World pageant.

The 21-year-old is a sales assistant and part-time model from Fensmark. She holds a black belt in karate, a big passion she practiced for over 12 years.

According to Miss Denmark Organization, Johanne is an ambassador for Plastic Change, a Danish NGO that aims to raise awareness about the growing plastic pollution in the oceans and the water environment.

The new Miss World Denmark is no stranger to international pageantry. After winning Miss Denmark 2021, she was appointed as Miss Supranational Denmark and went to the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant in Nowy Sącz, Poland.

Miss World 2023 will be held in India on a date yet to be announced.

Pastry chef and model Swann Lavigne from France was proclaimed Mister Supranational 2025 on Saturday, June 28 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The 25-year-old bested 37 other contestants to win the international male pageant. He succeeds last year's winner Fezile Mkhize from South Africa. Zuemerik Veeris of Curacao, Mauricio Calvo of Mexico, Michael Mazi of Nigeria and Kenneth Vincent Cabungcal of the Philippines were named the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Meet the winners of Miss Turkey 2025

The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational. Sıla Saraydemir, a 22-year-old student, was crowned Miss Turkey World 2025. She is expected to represent Turkey at the 73rd Miss World competition whose date and venue have yet to be announced. Catalina Duque Abréu from Colombia was crowned Miss International 2025 at the culmination of the 63rd Miss International pageant on Thursday, November 27 in Tokyo, Japan. The 26-year-old model beat 79 other international beauties to win the coveted title. She succeeds last year's winner Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy of Vietnam. Kim Rossen bested six other competitors to win Miss Universe Curacao 2023 on Saturday, May 27 at the World Trade Center (WTC) in Willemstad. The 25-year-old model, athlete, and occupational therapist living in Rotterdam, Netherlands will now prepare to represent Curacao at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador later this year. No stranger to pageantry, the University of Rotterdam graduate was first runner-up when she participated in Miss Curacao Holland 2023 last December. Sofia Viola, representing Campania, was crowned Miss Mondo Italia 2025 (Miss World Italy) last June 15 at Ecoresort Le Sirenè in Gallipoli. The 21-year-old aspiring actress from Pozzuoli beat 29 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Lucrezia Mangilli. Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Emily is a graduate of John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois and is currently a student at the University of South Carolina. The new Miss Universe Poland is no stranger to pageantry. The 21-year-old model and former volleyball player of Argentine descent from Taranto, Puglia was crowned by her predecessor Sofia Viola.
