Miss World Moldova 2023 is Diana Spotarenko


Diana Spotarenko won the Miss Moldova 2023 (Miss World Moldova 2023) national competition on Monday, May 8 at the Radisson Blu Leogrand Hotel in Chişinău.

The 20-year-old beauty from Gagauzia bested over 20 other competitors to win the title. She was crowned by Miss Moldova 2019 Elizaveta Kuznetsova.

Djulieta Calalb and Daniella Kovall were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

"It is hard for me to describe in words the emotions I feel. I am happy and proud of myself that I found the courage to participate in this wonderful contest," shared the new Miss Moldova.

"I still can't believe that a girl from a modest family became the holder of this honorary title and has the possibility and responsibility to represent our country."

Diana will now prepare to compete in the 71st Miss World (Miss World 2023) to be held in Mumbai, India this December.

Señorita Colombia 2021 is Valentina Espinosa of Bolívar

Valentina Espinosa, the representative of the Bolívar department, was chosen as the new Señorita Colombia 2021 (Miss Colombia 2021) in a ceremony full of color, music, and a lot of Colombian talent on Sunday, November 14 at the Auditorio Getsemaní del Centro de Convenciones Julio Cesar Turbay Ayala in Cartagena. The 23-year-old social communication and journalism professional triumphed over 24 other beauties to win her national title. The 51 state winners competing for Miss USA 2024 have already been crowned in their respective state competitions. This year's pageant is considered the most diverse in the 73-year history of Miss USA since the Miss Universe Organization changed rules allowing all women from age 18 to compete. Sigríður Ósk Hrafnkelsdóttir, also known as Sigga Ózk, was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2026 (Miss Iceland 2026) on Wednesday, April 22 at at Gamla Bíó in Reykjavík. Susana Medina from Las Palmas beat 16 other contestants to win Miss Universe Spain 2026 on Saturday, July 18 in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. The 27-year-old model and actress will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November.
