Miss Universe announces strategic growth partnership with Mexico-based Legacy Holding

MEXICO CITY — The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) and its owner, the Thailand-based JKN Global Group, are excited to announce a new partnership with Mexican business conglomerate Legacy Holding. According to a press release on Tuesday, January 23, this strategic investment for growth will build the brand’s international profile and allow for new product and marketing opportunities, in the global market. Longtime pageant fan Raul Rocha Cantú, Legacy Holding's board president and CEO, joins JKN Global’s founder and CEO Anne Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip as co-owner of the merged, privately-held company JKN Legacy. Rocha Cantú is also the franchise owner for Miss Universe Mexico, and his team will lead the planning of the 73rd Miss Universe competition to be held in Mexico later in 2024. Miss Universe Organization declaims crypto launch, plans legal action

The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) has just released an official statement regarding the "Miss Universe Coin" which was introduced at Philippine Blockchain Week. According to MUO and its owner JKN Global Group, they are not associated or involved in any way and will be pursuing all legal options with regards to this infringement. The statement reads, "There is currently no Miss Universe cryptocurrency or blockchain offering, and these products are in no way involved with the voting or selection process for MISS UNIVERSE or the Miss Universe Philippines pageants." "To our fans — please use caution and do not join in this falsely-named coin scam. We are doing everything we can to shut this down publicly so that our community is not victims of this fraud."

Miss Universe Skincare officially launched in Bangkok

The Miss Universe Organization has officially launched the M*U Beverage, a new business group under the M*U brand, to bring top-quality drinks to people around the world. Hosted at the True Icon Hall, Iconsiam in Bangkok, Thailand on Monday (July 17), the star-studded event was attended by reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel and her fellow competitors during the 71st Miss Universe pageant. Present were Ndavi Noderi of South Africa, Monique Riley of Australia, Divita Rai of India, Evlin Khalifa of Bahrain, Hrafnhildur Haraldsdóttir of Iceland, and Anna Sueangam-iam of Thailand.
